Full Series Aayla Secura

Main trilogies are about the Skwyalker family, but shows, games, and (comic)books and spin /anthologies can deal with other characters both old and new.

Yes I agree. The main movies should be a Skywalker saga. Any anthologies and series could explore other Jedi though. Indeed they should explore those to the max! Wish we saw a little more of a role for characters like Aayla Secura, Quinlann, Shyrne, Shaak Ti, Adia Gallia etc.

That looks good the one you posted. Is that similar to these ones? Haven't read it, but looks good.

Still would be nice to have a TCW style series which expands upon other characters like Aayla also. She's athletic, strong, cheeky and fun. And a Jedi!

It's cool when the series, books or spin off anthologies deal with Jedi, especially female ones who are confident, a role model and beautiful yes, but also on the inside through their compassion and moral character.

To discuss a popular character of Star Wars! The pictures are there to either compliment the discussion, illustrate her role in different episodes or to show different perspectives or portrayals in various medium (film, CGI TV series, game or comic). Some of the comic strips have the dialogue which is what I was referring to (e.g. her discussion with another Twilek Jedi, Aayla undercover), the game screenshots were to show her awesome moves/skill and the TV series was to show how they designed her well.

Yes, her disguise I believe was an undercover assignment, but I am not an expert on the comics. A few people have mentioned some great comics with what sound like super storylines!

As am I and agree with you! I was talking about her personality, her portrayal in the films, comics, CGI TV series and comics. Also how she provided a perspective of a female Jedi Knight, a Twilek, and a young Jedi (to give us an idea of those of a similar age to Anakin compared to the Old Guard or younglings for instance) and a cheeky/fun, confident and athletic character. A female lead, possible role model and popular character.

As for the pictures or videos that have been posted, I hope people do it to compliment said discussion. I put some screenshots above to highlight her appearance in the CGI series "Clone Wars" on TV, the comics to illustrate her undercover or Jedi assignments as well as her interacting with other Twilek female Jedi or other citizens. And the game shots were to show how awesome she was to play as.

I think she was a fun character. Yes she was beautiful, but it was also who she was and her personality that made her fun (when we saw it in the TV series, comics and games). I think her appearance if anything was great to show us variety in the Jedi and also how different cultures may attire themselves based on their beliefs, customs, or comfort. In the films, it was cool as she was someone different and provided us an insight into the Jedi Order and its variety as well as the vastness of the Galaxy as a whole. It was cool also to see her feature in both AOTC and ROTS in Jedi Council sessions, in the Temple or on the battlefield so that she featured as someone who was a fairly prominent/talented/skilled Jedi of her rank.

I think Aayla could have been utilized more in TCW. It would be cool to see her in an anthology film (as part of the story or in a central role) for films set in the period pre ROTS (whether that be Clone Wars or pre Clone Wars). Someone else also highlighted how it's nice to have strong, confident female leads who also get developed over the course of time and who we get to cheer on. Having characters from different species or age groups helps to highlight the incredible variety and magic of the Star Wars Universe.

Even with a cortosis-weave back and knee braces and a Mando Iron dipped skeleton, you're gonna surely need the bacta tanks bonus.

Secura was cool, am sure we're gonna see her around. But I prefer Darth Talon but I don't see her coming into canon unless they follow through on Lucas's outline for the canceled Darth Maul video game, but that is probably slim.

Darth Talon is an interesting character. A bit like a dark version of Aayla - though I don't think we've seen a TV CGI appearance? Would provide a unique perspective to see a dark female Twilek Jedi.

Aayla Secura was so cool for sure. It would be nice to see more of her in the Clone Wars era, either on the CGI TV medium, anthology movies, comics or in new films. She's fun.

She was the original first twi-lek in the star wars universe. She's the hot green chick that ends up being killed by jabba' rancor during that cringy music scene in Jabba's palace. Her actress Femi Taylor is also cool as hell, she's a big star wars fan.

What do I think of Aayla? She was an interesting character with Vos in the old EU, but her appearances in film and TCW are next to insignificant imo.

Yes I think Aayla is interesting and fun as well. You're right, those stories in some old comics (some posted above) were awesome. It was nice to see her in TCW and the movies. I think they designed her brilliantly in terms of CGI in TCW, but could have developed and utilized her character more. She was awesome in the scenes she was in. As for the movies, it was great to see her beautiful character which also demonstrated the variety of the Jedi Order and the galaxy itself.

I'm not sure about Talon in this one. Her outfitting is superb. But, she doesn't quite have the face of the comics. I think she is meant to be pretty and I thought she also fell in love with a Skywalker? [PLEASE NO TFA spoilers here though!] I would have thought she is similar to a dark Aayla - both in her beauty and her fluid athletic body and fighting style. This one seems a little rigid in combat. But it's a nice idea! I thought Talon was meant to be from a different time period though. But agreed that she is a really good idea.

I think its just simply fan made obviously, but they seemed on the mark as Lucas eventually wanted to officially align Maul with Talon as he must've enjoyed the Legacy era and liked the Darth Maul and Darth Talon characters.
