That would be Joaquin Phoenix. He would indeed be a great Kyp.

Stuart Townsend from "Queen Of The Damned" would make a great Kyp Durron..he's sexy and has got the right colouring. And he's got the physique of a Jedi Master

 

There are only two characters that I've ever taken the trouble to perfectly cast in my mind, and this is NJO era:

Jacen Solo: Brad Renfro

Anakin Solo: Ryan Merriman

The two actors are really really good, and in my opinion fit the physical and age requirements realistically. Other than that, I honestly don't care, though I'd love to see Orlando Bloom crop up somewhere. Orlando Bloom...drool...

Orlando Bloom is an Elf God!!! HE is waayyy to sexy to play anyone in the EU....although him as Jag Fel is kinda catchy...they are both of the same age group..early 20's but...hmmm..he could actually pull it off. I think Eliza Dushku is a deadringer of Jaina. If you study the front cover of Dark Journey..you can see the uncanny resemblance. Trust me..

 

Ya know what? That guy from "Dark Angel" ...Jensen Ackles..I think..should play Jacen Solo. The same height...almost teh same character..sorta.

 

Just found a great guy to play Kyp-I think. I've only seen one of his movies, but what about Aussie actor Eric Bana? If you have no clue who he is well, fear not because you will know him when Ang Lee's Hulk movie comes out-he's playing the lead. Oh, and he was in Black Hawk Down-he was the really bad-a$$ one named Anderson, I think. He looks about the right age and type, and has a wicked on-screen prescense.

 

Bana is as good as my two choices, Dougray Scott and Jason Lee

 

amarice77, for a while now I've been thinking that Jensen Ackles might actually be a good choice for Jag. I can just picture him saying a few of Jag's more arrogant, matter-of-fact lines in that way he talks as Alec on DA.

Of course, he'd have to dye his hair black.

 

I just found an actress I'm going to cast as Jaina in all my fics: Paloma Baeza. She's been in several BBC films, and has the right look and presence for Jaina.

Still working on the other Solo kids.

Kate Beckinsale as jaina on account of them making a really good couple in that gap comercial

 

i was watching that old show Dawson's creek. (I'll apologize for that now). but i saw the two characters played by joshua jackson and katie holmes together and my immediate thought was: thats jacen and jaina!!!

Now, for Thrawn. For some reason I keep think of a very young Leonard Nimoy as Thrawn. Him or this british guy (don't know his name, sorry) that played "Harker" in "Spy Game". The smug smirk and stand-offishness of the guy somehow made me think of Thrawn.

This is a fantasy thread, you can find pictures for alot of peoples choices on earlier pages.

 

I like the Jimmy Fallon suggestion for Face. Maybe Chris Kattan would be good for Face. Will Ferrel could be Kyp and Darrel Hammond could be Wedge.
