Driver repeatedly stated that Kylo was a work in progress and physically, mentally and spiritually, I could really see what he meant. So happy with this casting.

I think he didnt want to kill her. He sensed she had force abilities and wanted to train her. I really loved his character. His voice reminded me of Baine out of Batman. Loved his anger bursts when he took out his lightsaber and destroyed the rooms on the space ships lol...

Nah, his acting was awesome, and loved the character. Loved how he used the cross blades on his saber to inflict torture on Finn

Also loved how he stopped that lazer blaster shot in the beginning action scene

Nah, he was definitely a Bad Ass thats for sure. Clearly the 3rd best villain behind Vader and the Emperor and he has only been in 1 movie....

kylo ren has the most connection with the original heroes ,the son of han solo and leia and uncle to luke,
the most predictable route for him is that he ends up redeemed, but for me i find it to be both boring and predictable
even causal fans have the same ideas.

i do not want him to fall in the same foot steps as darth vader , let him embrace the dark side , as he grows in power and confidence he then kills
snooke and takes the mantle of the emperor the new leader of the first order.

an evolution of kylo ren character from petulant and unsure villain to a powerful confident one and parallels well with luke just the opposite :)

I suspect that we witnessed the death of Ben Solo's humanity. He killed Han. No redemption possible from my side.

I genuinely don't know where they might go with Kylo. I feel like he will want to see the killing of his father as evidence that he destroyed his humanity, but that he is convincing himself. He's seriously messed up, like a kid brought up in a cult.

He's basically a complex villain wishing he could be a black and white villain. It's fascinating.

He might help defeat Snoke, but I suspect he'll walk off into the unknown regions of the galaxy.

Kylo seems to have a connection with Finn (he notices him at the beginning and calls him a traitor when they fight) - I am convinced that he will try and draw Rey to the darkness or whatever. He seemed rather intrigued by her like a certain Vader was with a certain Skywalker..

I read the connection as simply being that Kylo noted Finn's conduct on Jakku, and so quickly worked out it was him;it showed he was on the ball, rather than a deep connection. Him calling him a traitor was just the end of the arc of Kylo's anger with Finn (as well as being ironic, considering he'd just killed his own father)

Adam Driver has a really interesting face.

He reminds me of Benedict Cumberbatch. You wouldnt necessarily say hes attractive, but he definitely looks interesting. From some angles/lighting etc you could say attractive, but in general the sheer unique look of their faces makes them strangely compelling.

I'm not going to lie as a straight male I thought he was the most attractive guy out of the film. Had that brooding, bad boy look to him. I think he'll be redeemed but I'd love to see him stay the villain and die the villain.

I'm hoping Snoke hasn't been training Ren properly due to the fact that
    1) He hasn't needed to been trained to a high standard really
    2) Maybe he was scared of him either going to the light side (like Vader) or trying to kill his master (like every other Sith Apprentice) (esp if some theory about him being Plagueis become true)

Now that Rey has appeared as OP Jedi and is off to bring back/Train With Luke he has to complete Ren's training out of need.

Most PT character's would've died from those injuries. Obi-wan was incapacitated with minor cuts in AoTC compared to the battle scars Kylo got.

Ben seems to want to purge himself of the light and all that might redeem him willingly and consciously. Pretty much, he seeks out the dark side deliberately, becoming a demon of his own making. And with this final step, he seems to have made up his mind. Whether he will feel lasting sorrow/guilt/regret is another thing, but that depends on how they want to develop his character.

I can't wait to understand at some point what exactly brought/convinced Ben to hate the Jedi, his old self, his family and embrace the dark side so much that he is willing to kill his own father. And for one, i don't want to see him redeemed. Not all villains, tragic as they may be, are brought back to the light. Sometimes the hate eats them up completely and the decision to go there is final. And that's the danger of it, i think there's a even better opportunity here to show just how damaging and corrupting the dark side can be to ones mind when the conditions are just right. And there is little to restrict him from becoming more powerful.

We've seen redemption happen with Vader already. His grandson may not share the same fate. By the end of this trilogy he may perish as darkness incarnate, far worse and twisted than Vader ever was.

That's why I think he'll venture off into unknown regions at the end of the ST. The guilt will be too much and to prevent himself causing too suffering, he'll leave and his fate will remain unknown.

How I wish Kylo Ren will develop during episode VIII and IX.

    - Snoke will train Kylo so he become even stronger.
    - Eventually Leia will have a face to face moment with her son to try to turn him to the light. He will try to overcome the light and kill his mother but fails to do so. Somehow Leia will manage have Kylo accepting the truth about Vader and the bullcrap from Snoke which perhaps could come from a force back (*1) from the scene with Vader throwing down the Emperor. Instead of joining the Resistance, Kylo decides to go one man army and use his hate to kill Snoke which eventually will trigger Kylo vs Knights of Ren.
    - It would also be bad ass if Kylo took somehow took over the Millenium Falcon.

I don't want him to join the Resistance nor do I want him with the First Order, something new and fresh. A powerful dark sider who went rogue.

Leia/Kylo relationship is what I'm looking forward to seeing the most. She felt Han's death, that strongly, across a vast distance so I wonder if she is able to contact Kylo - similar to Vader with Luke?

Am I the only one who thought Kylo was more menacing with his helmet off? Something about seeing an ordinary looking human under that garb being able to kill his father in cold blood after pretending he needed help was so chilling. Even if he isn't anywhere near as powerful as Vader I think he could be the scarier villain for me.
