After All That's Happened, Why Would Obi-Wan Allow Anakin To Escort Padme?

I watched the hangar scene yesterday and I noticed something strange: It appeared as if Padmé kissed Anakin on his mouth! I checked it over and over again and each time I saw the same thing: She was kissing him on the mouth, right in front of Obi-Wan and Yoda!
Now, the resolution on my computer screen is a little low, so I might be wrong. Can someone please check this for me? Cuz if she did, it seems like a VERY odd thing for her to do.

 

I watched it again and I´m now certain that Padmé did kiss Anakin on the mouth.
- What is she thinking?

What does the novelization have to say about this, BTW?

 

Oops, I was wrong, they weren´t making out. It was just a quick, friendly kiss and then a hug. It all makes sense again!

You mean the scene after Anakin gets his arm sliced off by Dooke and then Padme comes in and gives him a hug? I never noticed that before! (The Tramp! Anakin is to good for her!) Yea come and join!
