This has probably already been mentioned, but the scene where Baylan Skoll kills the soldiers in the hallway reminded me a lot of the Vader scene in Rogue One. It seemed like a deliberate callback.

I was so confused by Owen and Obi-wan’s relationship in A New Hope. I mean, they didn’t talk to each other once in the mid-1970s.

 

And Luke in the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian, they're each in their own way a great take on a very powerful scene, each time done slightly differently but exhibiting the protagonist's awe inspiring power.

But if the show ends up being officially placed at 11 ABY on the timeline, they can easily claim that he says "seven", not "several"

I took it as confidence/ arrogance born of experience in easily dealing with remaining "Imperial trash" as he called them, and boredom. He simply did not think, and had no reason to think, that these two characters would be actual dark Jedi. Not least as he hadn't seen any of the trailers online.

That said, they could have been regular Imperial trash, but with bombs. So yeah, it was a dumb move.

 

Oh I know, I just wanted to make this reference/emphasize why Rune Haako would react so strongly that course of action being suggested that he would speak in such a manner to who is ostensibly his boss. Post probably could have benefitted from a but I haven't posted here regularly in a while and I'm a little rusty lol.

No, please do be that guy. I used Google and it felt off but I couldn’t find a secondary source to either confirm or deny. I appreciate someone supplying the correct information.
