Full Series Ahsoka in Rebels

Discussion in 'Star Wars TV- Completed Shows' started by Darth Valkyrus, Nov 6, 2013.

?

What should Ahsoka be like if she turns up in Rebels?

  1. Like she was before the S3 timeskip. Snippy, impulsive, petulant, a little over-agressive

I'm also glad to see that she's ditched that idiotic icepick grip. Or so it seems.

I think the video made it pretty clear that we're gonna see a team-up fight against Vader. Maybe Ahsoka first fights alone, gets her butt handed to her and then Kanan and Ezra chime in to help her. *friendship power modus activated*

That makes zero sense, considering for all intents and purposes, Ahsoka should be far stronger in such a battle than Kanan and Ezra at this point.

Three is better than one and it's a very hero thing to team up on the villain. Not even joking with that, it's really true for most ensemble stories. And they'll still only manage to drive him back and save the innocent slave wookiees (or whatever).

Yeah, I think Ahsoka and Kanan (not so sure about Ezra) will team up against Vader to buy enough time to escape and continue the fight.

Personally, I like the idea of Ahsoka coming in for a last-minute moment to save Kanan from being killed by Vader. You couldn't get more of an epic reunion if you tried.

It doesn't look that way in the video. Sure, maybe that scene isn't about an Ahsoka-Vader confrontation, but I highly suspect it is.

True, Ezra may be left out. But knowing Ezra, it would be hard to keep him from engaging Vader ...

I like the idea of Kanan and Ezra coming in to save Ahsoka's ass. That's the one way it would work for me for her to survive a Vader encounter.

Or one of two ways, the other being Hera swooping in on The Ghost to save her.

How about Ahsoka gets saveed by Bail in the Tantive IV?

I don't know, seems like no one would expect that.

I honestly have no idea how Ahsoka will confront Vader.

She probably has her suspicions about Vader's identity and I'm pretty sure Vader would recognize his former apprentice, perhaps Vader will try and pull Ahsoka to the dark side

I like Bail saving Ahsoka using the Tantive as well.

If someone saving Ahsoka from Vader is anti-climactic, Ahsoka saving other people from Vader would also be anticlimactic.

Well, the Kremlin and that architecture predates Soviets and goes back to the Czars of Imperial Russia, the Soviets/Communists/Socialists enemies. The Kremlin was largely made by Italian artists, but those onion domes are frequent in the orient, places like Iran and India ect.

Kablob, post Anakin Tano is a different story which was my main point. The way she was described by Filoni and Ashley was of someone quite capable of handling Vader if need be.

Ahsoka's first meeting with Vader will be climactic. Ahsoka having to be rescued like a weak damsel in distress is not; especially considering all that she's supposed to have learned from Anakin himself.

I would use the term "handling Vader" lightly in this forum, considering no one at this early in the timeline should be able to "handle him" and you might turn heads otherwise. If they're referring to Ahsoka being able to at least put up a good fight against him; that's fair game.

I wanna see how much she's improved. (Assuming she did)

As a padawan she took on Grevious,Pre vizla,Anakin and Obiwan (simultaneously)
Now i'm not saying she can beat Darth Vader but it will be closer than most people think

Except that she lost a duel in every encounter. She's good at fighting lots of battle droids but is less skilled in one-on-one combat.

Lords of the Sith is pretty good at demonstrating that anyone who challenges Vader lasts less than five minutes.

Ahsoka should not be shown to be any different.

    You're forgetting something Avatar
Grievous is not only the head general of the most powerful droid army but he kills Jedi Masters and Jedi Knights both of which are on an differently level to Ahsoka (seeing how she's merely a padawan learner)
Vizla-Trained warrior, apparently kill his fair share of jedi and probably has way more experience
Taking on 2 Jedi? of whom is the Chosen on and the other arguably one of the most refined duelist of the Jedi council.
The fact that she survived all of that and much more is amazing considering how she was just a learner...

I don't think he was really trying to fight her, he was mostly on the defensive on Mortis.

If she hadn't felt the need to drop a gratuitous Bond style one liner, which alerted Vizsla to the fact that his rocket pack was about to explode, it would have killed him, which would pretty much count as him being killed by Ahsoka.

She went head to head with Grievous on Florrum when he was in full four-saber mode, and managed to not die while fighting a forced battle, drawing it out to give the kids time to escape. That takes some doing.

All in all she's pretty badass. And assuming she didn't chuck her sabers in a closet for 15 years like Kanan did, she should be a lot more powerful now than she was back in the day.

I really do like the look of her in those screenshots above. The ones with space-kremlin in the background. Look at her facial expression. She looks like the fricken Terminator.

I don’t think the Mortis fight is a very good analogy/ prediction of a fight between Vader and Ahsoka. Anakin and Obi-wan were simply defending themselves against her and trying not to hurt her.

We haven’t seen Ahsoka in action yet so it’s hard to say what her skill level is at. I think the biggest unknown factor in a fight between Ahsoka and Vader will be what Ahsoka’s reaction to Vader being Anakin is. Will she try to save him or think he’s unredeemable and try to outright kill him?
