Full Series Ahsoka in Rebels

?

What should Ahsoka be like if she turns up in Rebels?

  1. Like she was before the S3 timeskip. Snippy, impulsive, petulant, a little over-agressive

I'd love some dark Ahsoka. We've seen her choke a guy so why not channel her inner Anakin and smoke some people.

She could go on a quest with Rex riding wolves through a wasteland like that Filoni picture given out at celebration. Sinces wolves are involved I say it has a 98.73% chance of happening.

It's a cool idea but if she harbors any resentment towards Barriss then Ahsoka would probably try to kill her. Why? Because she handles her anger almost as well as Anakin does and if she did turn to the darkside I could see that anger spilling over. We saw a small snippet of it in the Mortis arc. She held a resentment for Anakin who she loved like a brother at that point.
Speaking of Anakin, I do have a bit of a headcanon that one of the first things that Anakin did, post Order 66, was hunt down Barriss if she did live and wasn't executed and kill her. Even if she wasn't a Jedi anymore she hurt Ahsoka which might still affect Anakin when he turned into Vader.

We already went over that. If you rewatch the episode in question, at no point does Anakin suggest he's disappointed with Ahsoka herself; he's only disappointed with her decision. He's really angry at the Council on betraying her and causing her to walk out on him.

The point of attachment might still be there post Order 66, maybe a few weeks? It's not like he went full Vader yet, maybe he did, but if Palpatine brought Barriss before Vader right after he put him back together and was like "Hey bro, use this chick to go hunt down the Jedi" I could see Vader pulling out his saber and ending her right there. Again, headcanon. There would be no way he would do that in SWR but maybe right after EPIII.

Well, Barriss was supposed to die in her cell at first but Filoni said in not so subtle terms that he has other plans for her, so I can safely assume that we will have Barriss appear in Rebels at some point.

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing that in Rebels. Of course the real Ahsoka should not turn, and no AAhhssookkaa. However with her realizing that Anakin has fallen to the darkside and become Vader, she might think that what if she had taken the dark path like her old master did. This form of thinking might cause her to have a hallucination/nightmare of a darker version of herself. We have had Luke face a darker version of himself in ESB, and Yoda in TCW. So in that tradition, Ahsoka should "encounter" a dark side Ahsoka. Would make for an epic duel.....even if it isn't real.

He does imply that in his opinion, Ahsoka is "a major disappointment".

Anakin forms attachments and has an inability to move on ad often blame himself for not being able to stop things and to do more. He said his piece in Season 5 finale:
Anakin: They're asking you back, Ahsoka. I'm asking you back.
Tano: I'm sorry, Master, but I'm not coming back.
Anakin: Ahsoka, wait! Ahsoka, I need to talk to you. Why are you doing this? The Council didn't trust me, so how can I trust myself? What about me? I believed in you. I stood by you.
Tano: I know you believe in me, Anakin, and I'm grateful for that. But this isn't about you. I can't stay here any longer, not now.
Anakin: The Jedi Order is your life. You can't just throw it away like this. Ahsoka, you are making a mistake.
Tano: Maybe, but I have to sort this out on my own, without the Council and without you.
Anakin: I understand. More than you realize, I understand wanting to walk away from the Order.
    Tano: I know.

But weeks or months later, he could not accept it afterall and his anger has been festering.

He said it the Council that left her no choice. So she was not a disappointment to him, but he was angry for her leaving him, he missed her and blaming himself for not doing more , and he felt the council left her no choice(and he's bee frustrated with the Council for a while and this is expressed by ROTS where it came to a head). Anakin also expressed his own feelings about leaving and about him being disappointment. He was aware of his own growing darkside but never sought help properly(the Jedi didnt really listen either) or made the steps to step down which were bold. He likely resented his own weakness for not being bold like Tano to leave. And knowing Anakin, giving up being a Jedi means giving up being a warrior and all that power and prestige. he would not give up being a Jedi, even when Padme asked him in ROTS, he got all pissed off. If he was turning here, then he would've felt Tano weak for giving up power but its not really how the scene plays out, his anger is inward and outward more towards the Council and little bit towards Tano for not being his anchor. If she was still a Jedi its not like Anakin would've betrayed everyone. I still think Palpatine was behind getting rid of Tano, would make sense for him to go after Anakin's padawan and have him blame the Jedi.
    (Walking)

Anakin: I'll contact Ahsoka, maybe she can...

    Kenobi: Anakin..

Anakin: Forget about it. She's gone.

Kenobi: Anakin, do you want to talk about it?

Anakin: What's there to talk about?

Kenobi: Nothing I suppose. Perhaps we should set up camp. Sound like a plan?

    Anakin: Whatever you say, Master

    (Camp)

Kenobi: Anakin, dwelling on Ashoka's decision won't bring her back.
Anakin: I miss her, OK? is that what you wanted me to say? I still can't understand how she could have left the Order.

Kenobi: It was a surprise decision to all of us.

Anakin: It was wrong. She's a Jedi. She belongs with us. She's one of us.

Kenobi: She made the decision, Anakin.

Anakin: Well, what choice did we give her? The moment there were any suspicions about her loyalty the Council turned their backs on her.

Kenobi: I would grant you mistakes we made but she chose to leave. Part of the Jedi way is not letting emotion cloud your better judgment. And that's precisely what Ahsoka did. Even in her most critical moment. Why don't you get some rest?

Anakin: I'm not tired. You can rest master, I'll keep first watch.

Kenobi: Well then, I will accept your kind offer.
    ...

You can't take responsibility for Ahsoka's decision, Anakin.
Anakin : How would you feel if I turned into a major disappointment?
Kenobi : It's not the same.
Anakin : It's precisely the same. You took me under your wing and practically raised me. I'm your padawan, just like Ahsoka was mine. How well would you sleep knowing that I failed you?
Kenobi : Not very well, I imagine. Luckily, that isn't true and never will be.

Sounds like he lurches incoherently between blaming the Jedi and blaming Ahsoka herself in the space of thirty seconds.

Not exactly the most stable of guys.

I never really saw him "blaming" anyone per se.

    Anyone check out Rebels recon?

2:41 in, Feloni flat-out sez if Vader had a list of people he hates it'd be Obi-Wan at the top and Yoda / Ahsoka jockeying for the runner up position.

I think this shows us very well that Vader will try to use Ahsoka to get info on Kenobi and fail but after that she will end like Kenobi

    dead.

Is anyone sick of seeing characters from the Clone Wars being recycled? Have Vader kill Ashoka and the clones, move on, be done.

Right now all that's been recycled is Ahsoka & Rex, two major characters from a series that didn't have a proper conclusion and a lot of the same crew is working on Rebels so it'd be logical they'd pop up. And Hondo but he's Hondo, he'd be all over the place.

Yeah, and then they could lose half the audience who followed them from TCW.
