Full Series Ahsoka in Rebels

What should Ahsoka be like if she turns up in Rebels?

    I don't really care what substances she does or does not do in her spare time.

    What I hope is that her experiences have not left her either whiny ("The Jedi picked on me so I don't like them, clones are better, get out Kanan, you're one of THEM") or sunny idealistic ("There is still good in my old Master, I can save him if I just remind him of the good times").

    I would rather see her a bit jaded and cynical but just angry enough to not accept defeat.

    "So why did you join the Rebellion, Ahsoka?"

    "Because I don't like Tarkin's hair, dumb***. Why do you think I joined the Rebellion? Because the Empire tells everyone what to do. And I don't like being told what to do, I never have. Anakin or Voider or whatever the hell he's calling himself now, can attest to that. Now are you going to help me, or am I going to have to decapitate ten bucketheads by myself?"

    I used to think so, but then I learned that the writers could always add more, across two movie trilogies and two TV shows.

    Hopefully TFA has a unique lack of whiny characters.

    Well I was only referring to one specific character; and the TCW crew actually kept his whiny character in check for the most part.

    Darth Vader will probably offer Ashoka a chance to earn immunity from the Empire if she joins forces with them and helps locate other Jedi, which she probably doesn't have any locations of. She refuses and would rather die than betray the Rebellion.

    I'm surprised Darth Vader and the inquisitors have not made the same offers to Kanan and Ezra in the past already.

    No chance... He won't want her around as she would remind him of his past. I think their first encounter will be highly emotional. I think it will be Ashoka that will try and convert Vader back to the light.

    - Sheev. It sounds like they want to follow her not have her join them.

    They have, in Rise of the Old Masters the Inquisitor states, "Are you paying attention, boy? The Jedi are dead, but there is another path the dark side."

    Sheev said that she could be an asset, did he not? To me that would heavily point to a conversion attempt by Vader, because why else add this line?

    They certainly botched Luxsoka beyond repair, although they handled Anakin/Padme, Obi/Satine and from most accounts the romance in Dark Disciple well. I think they realized it too, since last time we saw Lux and Ahsoka she was giving him a brofist and shipping Lux/Steela.(it is rather immaterial that she died)

    If they bring it back, then they either have to narratively cheat and offscreen the whole thing, which sorry will not make me interested. Or start over the 'romance' again which is a waste.

    I agree. Season 6 Clovis arc flushed out the inherit problems and tenuous state of the Anakin/Padme relationship. The Obi/Satine relationship clearly demonstrated the nobility of Obi-wan, provided an interesting contrast to Anakin/Padme and ended epically...

    Also, Hera and Kanan have been handled well. Their relationship isn't in your face, but is acknowledged and built upon on a regular basis.



    I agree that he started out very... soft. But by the end of the Olderaan arc he was a bada** version of Bail Organa...

    He would still be a member of the slowly defunct Senate and in addition to Organa could provide insight into the growing Rebellion leadership.
