Ahsoka Official Ahsoka Series Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)

I think he was strongly hinting in that direction, but didn’t clarify as he didn’t want to get ahead of the Ahsoka show announcement.

I’m absolutely fine with it being a limited series. I prefer it when shows don’t try and make more episodes and more series for the sake of it. If they’ve got a story with a clear start and end point, just get it done with less episodes of higher quality. If you leave fans wanting more then that limited series becomes even better.

If this is carrying on from The Jedi, then we know what she’s up to and what her end goal is. For example, Mando needs filler episodes and more time on screen in order to strengthen the bond between Mando and Grogu. Ahsoka doesn’t need this

So its pretty clear this is the Rebels "sequel". I think Ahsoka's Mandalorian episode was a prologue of sorts to this. The Thrawn namedrop was for this series. I'm guessing this is where we're going to be seeing live-action Sabine and Ezra. So excited for this.

 

I just don’t know how you wrap up all that in a mini series

Excited for this of course. I just hope is not just about Ahsoka trying to find Ezra and Thrawn. I don't really care about them. I mean they are fine but I'm here for Ahsoka. What is her story now?

 

This show apparently takes place after Rebels so it is likely about Thrawn and Ezra

 

Following all the other "Ahsoka in TCW/Rebels/Mandalorian" threads, I half expected this thread to be named "Ahsoka in Ahsoka".

I expect that plot-line to be part of it but I expect more about Ahsoka's character if I'm going to be happy with the show.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a leadup to the Rebels sequel rather than the Rebels sequel itself. At its core, the hunt for Ezra is really more Sabine's quest than Ahsoka's.

It would be an incredible opportunity squandered if they didn't do a flashback sequence given that they have Hayden available. I would think it would be a fairly quick shoot to accomplish.

 

This was inevitable. Not a lot to go on yet but I liked Dawson as Ahsoka and the Mandalorian did set up obviously where we'll be going. Or maybe it didn't and we'll see what happened to her beforehand but I'm pretty sure it's more the latter with potential to explore the former.

I heard Dave and Jon are involved so we're keeping it consistent with the Mandalorian tone wise and Dave being involved as the co-creator of Ahsoka will know what to explore and what not to explore and it'll be interesting to see how the general audience continues to respond to a character that they've pretty much been introduced to for the first time on the Mandalorian. So yeah hope it's good.

 

I ain't too sure how they would pull off a teenager ahsoka with Dawson. i dunno if they would be able to de-age her in that way. im sure it would involve more CGI the more you de-age someone.
