Oh, now there's a thought. For whatever mad reason, Kir starts twirling his weapon about in a whirling dervish of an attempt to both impress and scare Han. Han finally gets bored and shoots Kir in the head. Kir was paying too much attention to what he's doing and not enough to Han so he's unable to block the shot. And some yahoo local runs in and takes Kir's weapon as a trophy. Did I forget to mention it all happens in Mos Eisley? Or that Leia is being taken away in a basket?

I'm just waiting for Leia to chop her arms and legs off. Not only will that be rather satisfying and a fitting Episode III link, but then i'm quite happy for her to see the errors of her ways, redeem herself and then become a floating Jedi ala Brand. It's about time we had another floating Jedi and she can be the one to perfect the far safer Lightsaber Form X : using the Force to float your saber into battle
