I didn't really, but I remember the show. The situation sounds a lot like what's happening to "The Practice" though. They switched it from sunday to monday and the ratings have gone way down. Now it might be cancelled

That was an excellent episode (2 days later). Very good and an excellent ending.

Can't wait until Sunday!! Two hours for the season finale! J.J. Abrams is a genius; he can keep the plot lines interesting and unpredictable week after week. I used to think that David E. Kelly is a genius, too, but I've definitely lost interest in The Practice and so has many people which is probably why ABC cancelled it for next season. Alias is much more fun and I love to watch Sydney transform herself every week with her funky, sexy, and over-the-top outfits. Definitely a girl power show.

Wow! Two incredible hours of Alias. I won't go into details until the West Coast people see it. I don't know what to think about that ending. It looks like one of the characters might have become a scumbag though...

That was almost as good as last year's cliffhanger... maybe even better. At least it was unexpected. That is the great thing about this show. Very unpredictable.

Why did she wake up in Hong Kong? Who is responsible? What was the 'Telling' machine? Has Jack switched sides? Is Marshall married to Claire, I mean Miss Bowman? Is Will going to be a cripple in a wheelchair?

    ARGGGHHH!

So many questions to ponder until they release the third series!

Any speculation? What do people think has happened?

    Well let's see here.

Right before the end Sloan said that he had got that machine thing running, though we have no clue what it is supposed to do. Then right before Sydney's mom jumped off of the roof of that building, she told Sydney that she was connected to that machine somehow, though she didn't go into any details.

Then Sydney woke up in Hong Kong after being missing for 2 years. Hmmm.....I wonder what that machine did? It had some connection to Sydney. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Can't wait until next season! :D

Where did you get that idea from?

The finale just aired a couple hours ago and already there are people talking on here and other boards about writing off Alias and never watching it again. Personally, I don't understand that. I loved the finale, and that ending was one of the best cliffhangers I've ever seen, which is what this show is great at. The people who do this show wait for viewers to get comfortable with where the show is, then they turn it on it's head, I love that. And a lot of people are thinking that there was a time machine involved and how lame that is, but the truth is, we have no idea what happened, and we won't find out for awhile, and I can't wait.

    Huh? What?

It was fairly shocking and suspenseful... then at the end... wth?

I'm not going to write off the show yet. I don't think they'll go into anything as corny as a time machine--I hope.

As for Marshall's adventure. That was funny! [face_laugh]

That wasn't a time machine. Sydney is actually an android and the machine controlls her. ;) Ha! Now go cry guys. :p

But seriouly, the finale had a number of surpises. I'll be looking forward to season 3.

    C'mon, folks...

A TIME MACHINE is the ONLY thing that makes sense!

How could Rambaldi have gotten all those predictions correct? Because he wasn't predicting... ;)

My one big question is -- is the number of pieces required for the device significant, or another red herring... it was too specific a detail to be just mentioned for the heck of it...

The only thing missing was Sydney's mom saying " I am your mother !" as she hit her with a cattle prod.

And let me just say -- OH. MY. G-D.

I've been doing some research on "47" -- the number of pieces. Let's just say...

I need to actually write up the information as a thesis type thing there's that much information I'm correlating right now...

    More as I write more...

I also believe that the 47th page was the blank one.

It will be interesting to see what you have found dp.
