Bardan Jusik was a Jedi who joined the Mandalorians:

He was also a Commanderat the time of the Clone Wars and aided in briefing clone commandos before a mission. He was against the creation of the Grand Army of the Republic and even addressed his negative ideas to the Jedi Council. He was later promoted to Jedi Knight and became a General in the Grand Army of the Republic. He later resigned from the Order to join the Mandalorians, saying that he couldn't fight for a Council that approved the slave labor that was the Grand Army.” (Wookiespedia)

Him leaving the Jedi Order when he did was prudent because Order 66 was around the corner.

 

As a matter of fact he isn't the only one, or even the first! Though she's often overlooked on that account, Mira is actually the first Mandalorian to join the Jedi Order, predating Vizsla by more than a decade in our time and presumably much longer in-universe. Unfortunately, it would seem that her story's been all but forgotten by the time of the Galactic Empire—as well as the cursed year 2020, apparently —replaced in the popular oral tradition by the more famous, Darksaber-wielding Tar Vizsla.

 

That is sad, lets preserve the Legends. Thank you for sharing about Mira. She is from Kotor II correct? One of the Lost Jedi.

 

I think @clone commander bossk was refering to the new Canon only. At least that's how I read it and based my comment on.

I don't think he counts since he fully forsake his Jedi heritage in all ways, unlike Tarre who seemed to be both mandalorian and Jedi, so was Barden only mando

They did, I believe.

 

Then they wouldn't be jedi mandos they'd probably be closer to sith.

 

They'd never formally left the Order though, and still called themselves Jedi and thought of themselves as lightsiders. That's the impression I got from the comic at the time, anyway.

Actually the Mandalorian Knights fought against The Republic, they felt the Republic had become corrupf, and the path to honor was the Mandalorian Way, “But why expect better from the Republic? That fool Captain Morvis is exactly who they are—no judgment, all ambition! At least Mandalorians believe in something, Zayne. Yes, they can be indiscriminate and brutal, but with our guidance. They can change. The Republic can't. We're on the wrong side!” (DORJANDER KACE, TO ZAYNE CARRICK) . So they became terrorists, bombing and sabotaging the Republic. By extension yes, the Jedi are Guardians of the Republic, so yes the Mando Knight did become enemies of the Jedi. The Mandlorian Knights were an interesting opposite to the Revanchists who at the same time were under Revan seeking to annihilate the Mandalorians dueing the Mandalorian Wars.

Indeed I do. Find a willing combatant to duel in the SWC's new dueling thread and engage them there in a short contest. Any who participate in a Battle Circle will earn two Honor Points for their efforts. Impress me with your battle prowess and I may award further Honor Points.

Alos, is it just me or all planets he visits suffering from bad sunlight and lack of vegitation?

I have no idea about the mandos but the Jedi probably very much consider Dorjander Kace no longer one of them
