I've had this comic on my mind a lot lately, Twin Engines of Destruction. Despite being made before Boba's Mandalorian ties, it's still interesting to see Fett's reaction to some hut'uunla fake using his armor.






Our armor is what makes us Mandalorins after all, if any di'kut's uses our armor without earning it or is using it in a dishonorable fashion, we must become adenn naast to these teroch di'kut's!

As adenn as Boba Fett is to this bantha dung known as Jodo Kast.

Welcome Alourus Mesh’la, I am Kaster Mereel of House Saxon.

I don’t see my name on the Saxon list, is this directed to inactive members of our House?

I am Kaster Mereel, ruus'alor House Saxon 22HP and remain very active milord.

Our traditional Saxon colors are red and grey.



I however wear Gold and Purple Beskar armor:



Gold is for Kote, for the glory of our House Saxon, Purple is in ijaat of the Manda’lor to whom I pledge my Oyay (life). I wear my colors as marks to declare that House Saxon shall reign and restore Mandalore to its former Kote.

Ijaat! Ijaat!

 

I wear the traditional silver and gold of clan Wren on my beskar'gam. The owl eyes on our armor symbolises our protective gaze on our clan and house and our devotion to protect them.





Also, i know this was a task for Saxons and i don't expect any points for it, i just wanted to talk about my Beskar'gam.

My gf pointed out that his fighting style with the gaffe stick reminded her of The Maori Haka dance. Which makes sense because he is of Maori decent.

How fitting that a Maori descendent ended up using a weapon obviously inspired by their culture. Very full circle, much like most of Star Wars."
