I think "A View from the Gallery" was early Season 5.

 

A View From The Gallery was definately S5. The loss of Claudia Christian really hurt B5 in S5.

For some reason I had the Shadow War in my head for the backdrop...not the Earth/Alliance war.

 

I still love "Point of No Return" about halfway through S3. "Only one Earth Alliance Captain has ever survived combat with the Minabari, he is behind me. IF you value your lives leave now" Delenn to the EA ships.

 

Since Season 2 comes out on DVD today, this needs an up.

Blame JMS for that. I've read the comments from him, and from CC, and she had no say in whether she returned or not. That really upset me.

So, I watched 6 episodes last night...

I realized...I missed a lot of the first couple of seasons...

But my favorite line is from Vir to Morden...where he says he wishes to see Morden's head on a Pike...


And I am happy that "Gropos" is in Season 2...it is one of my favorites...maybe 4th or 5th fav. episode.

I'm pumped to watch my S2 DVD tonight. I'll pick my fav eps first, The Long Twilight Struggle, Divided Loyalties, The Coming of Shadows, Geometry of Shadows, that should do it.

 

Stay tuned to my .sig... I'm expecting the Vir to Morden line as making the final cut, but I also try and go for non-obvious, non-Koshisms instead... so we'll see...

(I loved that Londo "victims of mathematics" line... )

Couldn't get in a whole lot, though.

 

The S2 DVD box set was $ well spent. The JMS commentaries on a couple eps. are pretty good. Haven't listened to the CC/BB/JD commentary on The Coming of Shadows yet. I wonder if WB will speed up the release of futire seasons a bit?

 

I work for Walmart and we have yet to get it in.. Sometimes we get boxsets in late but I also tried several Supercenters near me and they all said they got them in but very few and they sold out... I'm most unhappy, I was looking forward to watching it this week. If I don't find at work this week I'll just have to break down and get it online someplace. Any others stores near me it costs alot more than I can get it for.

 

So are your B5 DVD's great Jedi_Satimber?

 

JD...I have loved the 28 episodes of the 44 that I own...haven't had much of a chance the last couple of days...but should be able to watch some more tomorrow.

Well, there are the commentaries...which I don't really like...

but then there are some other things that are pretty cool....with some interviews.

they are set to the show...so you watch the show & JMS is talking over everything.

I think Audio Commentaries are the best special features you can get on a DVD. Are these Audio Commentaries on every B5 episode or jsut a couple?

 

JMS did like between 2 & 4 per season I think.

It is a special feature, so you can access it if you want.

I personally am a fan of Deleted Scenes & Alternate Endings...

 

Yeah it sounds like we have the same Audio Commentaries and the same number of them as well on our versions of the DVD's. I saw the Season 1 Box Set today. Looks very nice
