Bugger all. Still trying to sort out this new album. Dude, you're in NC, you couldn't go up to Charlotte and wake up James for me could you? He still needs to get his network fixed so he can send me the final version of Adriatic.

That's a 2 hour drive. I don't think so. Did he go to Heros Con the other weekend. I wonder if he still has that computer he said I could have... [face_thinking]

No not from New Orleans but I live in Louisiana. And yeah I like Blind Guardian. Perhaps me favorite power metal band. But I am more interested in Leave's Eyes.

Leave's Eyes are good. I'm not very fond of their singer (mostly because she was not very good on Nymphetamine....or Nymphetamine itself wasn't very good), but that crimson gothic dress of hers pwns.

    :p

    Hey y'all.

Kicking it in New York right now, and it hotter than hell here.

I wonder if there are any good Heavy Metal places here in NY...[face_thinking]

they're kinda grindcore-ish. they have alot of lyrics about vegitarianism/veganism , animal liberation and anti-animal experimentation.

Ok fellow troopers and sith. I listen to this radio station called 93.3 The Planet. It's based out of the Greenville/Spartanburg area. Anyways, One of the dj's is this lady Paige. Right now they're having a contest to win a date with her. It's suppose to be mostly for fire men 'cos she's got a thing for them BUT !!! I emailed them a pic and asked if I could get in on it and they said sure. So.....

Would you all do me a favor and go vote for me.... You don't have to register with the site or anything to vote.

And you can only vote once from your computer, so if you can get any friends to do the same. That would rock \m/.

    Thanks,
    Spooky

Can anyone help me out. I'm looking for some guitar tablature "books" and not having much luck online.

I'm wanting to find some Slayer guitar tablature books. Mostly for Reign in Blood and South of Heaven.

It's very rare that "underground" bands like Slayer put out tab books. When metal bands do put them out, they're usually the commercial ones that everyone hates, like Linkin Park and Evanescence. You best bet would be to print them off the net or download PowerTab and then download the tabs for it. That way you can hear and see at the same time, which helps. GuitarPro does the same, but it costs money. However, it's a hell of a lot better.

I'm sure they exist, I believe I even remember seeing some back in the day. The only ones I own are Metallica-Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and And Justice For All.... Metallica was my favorite band back in the mid to late 80's.

Try to find a Slayer fan forum. Guys there might have some tablatures. I did that when I searched for Blind Guardian tabs. Guys at their forum gave me some sites where to download the music sheets.

    Metallica = Commercial Thrash ;)

Slayer will be much harder to find. Besides, it's up to the record label, if they're on an indie label there won't be tabbooks, as they can't afford it.

Has anyone heard that new Carpathian Forest yet. I'm broke and can't afford to get it yet. I can't wait to have some more money for music soon. I'm wanting to get two new records asap. The Wolfmother lp and the new Cryptopsy lp.

in y'alls opinions... what is the best dark throne album. And the best Emperor album. There was a record i was curious about the other day at the record store in the metal section but, couldn't make out the name. I'll write the title down the next time I'm in there.
