    Having 3,000,000 vocal tracks doesn't equal metal :p Hell, the only acoustic stuff I'd call metal is Impaled Northern Moonforest, plus the brief passages in Akercocke that use them.

    Besides, having 'metal' and 'ballad' in the same sentence is an oxymoron :p

    Not really. These days, metal music is the only one that cares for continuing the tradition of medieval minstrels and bards. Metal uses lots of motives from mithology and legends, so in a way, metal songs are epic poems and epic ballads.
    Or, like my cousin says metal-baladice - little warm metal ballads. :p

    *shriek* I can't wait to see BG live! Live Bard's Song, Skalds and Shadows or Harvest of Sorrow will SOOOO pwn!!! :D :D :D

    Fangirl :p

    Oh, and lol@Cradle for making a halfway decent album, despite sounding nothing like previous Cradle.

    As Sarah said to me, and all the other naysayers: Bands evolve :p

    Though, to be honest, not even Martin likes the new album. Haven't talked to James since he quit though.

    But Heda, listen to Libertina Grimm or Lovesick for Mina. They sound nearly Dusk-esque in places :p

    Love for Mina doesn't work. CoF fangirls cannot even burn CDs properly. *sigh* :rolleyes:
    :p

    Now I'll have to buy the damn thing. And I don't want to buy an album with Valo on it. [face_sick] [face_worried]

    Well this past firday I got to see Epica live in Det Mich for the very first time. They have taken the place as my fave metal band. I got to meet there bass player Yves in person. He's a really cool guy. Simone Well I can't say enough about her. I go to hold her hand. Not for long but still it was enough. See Mark man it was very cool.

    Here's my list of top metal bands

    1. Epica
    2. Kamelot
    3. Edenbridge
    4. Ram-Zet
    5. To-Mera
    6. Flowing Tears
    7. Dark Tranquillity
    8. Lunatica
    9. Children of Bodom
    10. Nightwish

    Note Nightwish used to be number one. But Epica has just really taken over my life. I listen to there stuff more then any other CD I have.

    Epica are cool, Kamelot I like but don't listen to often. To-Mera rule though :p

    Seems that you're the first major Gothic/Female Fronted Power Metal fan here though, due to Amon being mainly male-fronted power obsessed :p

    Still, welcome!

    May have to give you a title :p

    Anti-steal technique. :p You ask the lady that works there. She has the key and she takes the album out of the box-like cage thingy. :)
    :p

    Less that 24h to teh unfogetable headbanging on Valhalla or something even better...like Mirror Mirror.
    LOL, there will be more Croatians that Slovenians. :p The entire CMAR-NET is going. And on international official BG forums, we speak Croatian in the Ljubljana concert thread. Haha, teh uber invasion. [face_devil] :p

    ---> Hansi said that our singing of the Bard's song was beautiful. :D

    The gig was AMAZING!!! :D
    Guardians were great, their singing was perfect, guitars were outstanding, drumms were pretty good (though I prefer Thomen to that newbie), and there really was more Croatians than Slovenians. We had our flag, we gave it to Hansi :D and he and Marcus put it on the drumms! :) It was a touching moment of patriotism, so good that even my school mate that is in fact a Hungarian, yelled "mi Hrvati!" (we Croatians). Well, that is a message to whhoever organises BG tours, to be smart next time, at least to buy a brain on e-bay, and to organise a full scale gig in Zagreb instead of squeezing 5000 people (80% Croatians, 5% Italians, 5% Austrians) into a small hall. *sigh* But, still, it was fantastic. Now I can really quote the uber mushiness of ROTS and say that it was a happy moment, the happiest moment of my live, especially those 5 minutes of Mirror Mirror and 5 min of Bard Song and Nightfall...hell the entire concert! :D
    *euphoria is still existant* (can I write existant? is it grammaticly correct? nah, who cares?!)

    They played:

    War Of Wrath (Intro)
    Into The Storm
    Welcome To Dying
    Nightfall
    Fly
    Bright Eyes
    Valhalla
    Time Stands Still
    Mordred's Song
    Another Stranger Me
    The Past And Future Secret
    And Then There Was Silence (and they said it was the last one and then we all yelled like idiots: "WE WANT MORE!" :p )
    And The Story Ends
    Harvest Of Sorrow :)
    Imaginations From The Other Side
    The Bard Song
    Mirror Mirror

    Who could possibly wish for a better BG playlist?! :D

    [image=http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Amarth775/PA140022.jpg]
    ---> Astral Doors were playing before the real show, they were pretty ok, though a tad boring because we were all anxious to see Blind Guadian. :p

    [image=http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Amarth775/PA140041.jpg]
    ---> teh GUITAR of teh guitars - the acoustic one with which they played every BARD SONG :D I've actually seen it. *faints*

    [image=http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Amarth775/PA140115.jpg]
    Bard's song

    [image=http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Amarth775/PA140086.jpg]
    Hansi with the flag

    [image=http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Amarth775/PA140109-1.jpg]
    Hansi - btw, Cobra, they played Time stands still, and j i Iron was obvious. ;)

    Fandom is forever! :p Like the Astral Doors song - Evil is forever. ;)

    [image=http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Amarth775/PA140052.jpg] Hansi looking like a pseudo-frog

    I made some uber pics, didn't I?! :) I love my camera.

    When I got there and during the Astral Doors gig, everything was quite normal, but at the beginning of the actual BG concert my friend I managed to get to 2nd row. Actually, we were pushed by enourmous crowd mass. I could hold out my hand and it was way beyong the border of the stage. :D However, we were extremely squeezed and pushed and now I even have the experience of the g-state, because there was a moment when I was standing, but I wasn't actually touching the floor. :p Then I had to tie my hair in a ponytail because I was very afraid that I might loose it. There was so many people, so little space, and long hairs everywhere and accidentaly, as the crowd squeezed and people pushed each other, tons of hair were being pulled out all over the place. So in my attempt to tie my hair (in g-state and with no room for my hands, I was unfortunately pushed back in the 4th row. :( :p
    I dehydrated, I lost my voice because I yelled and sung every single song and my muscles are still very sore and I couldn't feel my neck and my Dr.Martens are all ruined now and I got home at 6:30 am, it was very
