Anakin and Padme: When was their First Time Together?

If that is the case, what do you think of Anakin and Padme waiting until they are married to have sex? I think that kind of restraint is admirable.

Restraint? Yeah, those two showed a lot of restraint after realizing they were in love/lust -- just like Romeo and Juliet restrained themselves by waiting until marriage to have sex (there are a lot of good parallels between R&J and Anakin and Padme as youthful, misguided, doomed romances based on lust and not real love, and I think this is one of them). They got married immediately so that they could have sex and still claim they were doing things "properly" by not having sex out of wedlock.

There is nothing admirable about the conduct of either of them, IMO. They both know that Anakin is not permitted to be in a relationship of that sort, but they choose to ignore that little detail and do whatever they want regardless of what is lawful or correct.

 

It would have been easier ( for Anakin) if they hadn?t married. If it was just lust not love he would not of risked a legal union . He would of just shagged her a couple of times on Naboo then forgotten about her.

That he did marry her shows commitment which is part of love.

I think getting married was the right thing to do in that situation.

I agree I also think the did get it on during the scene in Clone Wars when Anakin got his scar.

 

I think it was John Knoll on the commentary for Chapter 21, who confirmed that the day he was made a Knight and met with Padme, was when the children were conceived. I believe the New Essential Chronology confirms that.

Hey, this is an important question!

I'm inclined to think the wedding night was their first time. I don't think either one of them would take sex lightly, especially not Anakin. Anakin put Padmé on such a pedestal I don't think he'd want to "dishonor" her in any way by not giving his fullest commitment to her first . Which means marriage.

But they probably fooled around a lot on that ship back to Naboo .

They first time was in that ship,of course.Think about that; two people inloved on "romantic" journey from planet to planet, alone in the empty ship (ignore the droids, or turn them off I say).I think they did it more then one time in that ship.If droids memory wasn't earsed the Luke could have leaned much more about his orginis in "New Hope".
