Anakin vs. Lord Vader....the change in dialect.

    It's worth considering that both of Anakin's mentors (Obi-Wan and Palpatine) speak with a British accent, although it just so happens that they're both played by Scottish actors (Ewan McGregor and Ian McDiarmid)!

    Thats exactly it. Ever watch Frasier? And in defence of Christensen he really does the best he can with that enuciated English in RotS and he gives a pretty good performance, much better then the one in AoTC, and I am one of the few that didnt think that that performance was that bad.

    I think he sounds very American and his tone is educated though his vocabulary could use some work.
