I loved Moby Dick, unabridged. One of these days I'll read it again.

I feel like I'm missing something, Siphonophore. Moons absolutely have their own solar cycles, because they rotate. For instance, our moon, since it rotates much more slowly than the Earth, takes about a month to rotate (27.3 days to be precise--thus the moon phases we see). Because it rotates at the same speed as it revolves around us, we never see the "far side" of the moon from Earth. Point being, Yavin 4 has a specific length of day determined by the speed of its rotation, not by the fact that it orbits a gas giant, just as a day on our moon is 27.3 Earth days.

But yes, it's absolutely possible that a "day" on Yavin 4 means some kind of galactic constant and not equal to sunrise to sunrise to sunrise on the moon (although I highly doubt it's based on what a day is on the gas giant, since that's presumably completely uninhabited). If that's what you're saying I wholeheartedly agree.

/end extremely pedantic and unimportant hairsplitting

7 out of 10 for me.

Highlights were the scenes on Chandrila and Andor finally escaping those annoying rebels on that planet with him. Hope we never see them again in the show because they were tedious to watch, to be honest.

Most of the episode was just kind of meh to me, though.

Not bad but not great either.

First season of Andor got stronger as it went along, so hopefully that will be the case for season 2, too.

If this season gets any stronger than the first three episodes, which were very strong, we're in for a real treat. A bitter treat, I'm sure, but a real one nonetheless.

Yup. Though I don't need hope, as it's already great!

8/10. Very good, though the clandestine mumbling is a little frustrating. I was glad to see the back of the idiot brigade at the end of the show. My thought on the final shot was 'that planet looks a bit like Yavin 4, how unoriginal.' Apparently, it appears that there's a very good reason for that lol

This episode was like a fever dream, and I loved it! The nutty jungle castaways, Syril's mother, you name it. Again, something out of TV's past, very English.

Yes, I enjoyed it. I'm getting used to the scene switches, it didn't bother me as much now as in the first episode. My favorite character is Cassian Andor, so I'm glad he finally got away from the idiot brigade (perfect description @Palp_Faction, so I'm stealing it). My second favorite's Mon Mothma, and her partying through gritted teeth has been stressful to watch. I've tried to avoid spoilers, but I have a bad feeling about Tay Kolma's future...

Yup. It’s clearly inspired by British TV thrillers and that wicked, yet restrained, sense of situational humor.
