Andor Andor Season 2 Discussion (Spoliers Allowed)

I don’t particularly watch Star Wars trailers but ai went on YouTube shorts for two minutes and I think I saw the whole trailer regardless

 

if people want to complain about modern things, ai is top of my list

Seems Disney was shocked at all the critical accolades and made it a focal point for the trailer.

Lol. You really never fail to turn everything into something negative.

 

I guess it's kinda funny that this trailer is one that may have appealed to me more about a month ago. Even the action focus doesn't do much IMO. The strength of S1's action is really in the staging, editing, and buildup. A lot of the shots are cool, though, including another instance of the ship-mounted hyperspace view.

 

So I know cameos isn't the target of this show but I wonder if we might see Hera, the Ghost, Chopper or someone else from Rebels. I wouldn't be surprised to see one or all of those three as they were in or mentioned in Rogue One after all. But could we see...at least briefly...Cal? He'd be working with Saw in one of these four years.

Or Ahsoka, she'd possibly be helping the rebellion around this time still.

 

Fred being an AI creation would be the least surprising thing I’ve learned all decade.

 

This is getting out of hand! Either Fred/ Frizzy or JKF need to change their usernames, for my sake. My brain is processing too much and the difference between these two usernames just isn’t registering.

I am mostly excited for more Krennic, Mon Mothma and Saw.

 

I can’t wait. Haven’t been this excited since…Andor season 1.

 

Watched the trailer on mute as I was in the gym, looked good. Wonder if Tarkin will make an appearance?

 

Only 8 weeks! Excited.

 

When you see all those iconic characters, it really shows how cool this show and Rogue One have been that there are so many compelling characters involved.

 

The revolution starts now. I know this because the music told me. Thanks music.

 

I haven't watched the trailer and don't plan to. I do kind of like the scheduling of it though. Well wait and see if I like it I guess. But it gives those who wait and binge less time to agonize, lol.

Anyway, here is my opening scene prediction for episode 1...

Orson Krennic is looking at a data tablet...

So, all Andor second season episodes will be released in only one month. That's an interesting decision from Disney.

I guess Disney doesn't see benefit to release Andor episodes for two months.

 

I don't usually like modern rock music played in 'period' fantasy stories. (Mostly it just leaves me feeling meh, or it doesn't really work well). But that music over the trailer was so great. The editing was superb. The locations feel interesting too.

Yeah. Bring this on!
