I am %100 sure its Dantooine. ANH connection and Rogue One was going there in earlier scripts.

It's night and day. This footage makes it feel (as cliche as this sounds) like the Empire Strikes Back of the series, heavier and darker all around. As it should be. We are about to witness the Ghorman Massacre.

 

It may just be another politician of the Tarsunt species. Which is one of my favorite aliens of the ST era.

 

I think it might be Ars Dangor. Mothma mentions him in season one as someone from the Viziers office that thwarts her in the Senate. He helped cut off the Ghorman shipping lanes.

 

I always liked the one that probably took the picture of the Imperial Dignitaries. That or he was using the bathroom at the time.

I'm assuming they're not going to have Tarkin just plop a Star Destroyer on the Ghormans.

 

There’s a way to do that and make it horrific and tragic, a visual metaphor for the indifference and oppression of the Empire coming down on people.

But there’s a big part of me that knows I’d probably laugh at the fundamental pettiness of Tarkin not even bothering with turbolasers and just parking on people's heads with a spaceship like a Futurama gag.

I thought it was the base we saw in Andor S1, which is not on the same planet as the one from TFA.

 

Seems like this person has golden clothes, so more probably that this is Amedda.
