Andor Andor Season 2 Discussion (Spoliers Allowed)

Dosent sound like he will be when KK was asked about it. And Tony Gilroy next project is a movie about music.

 

Anybody else hoping for an appearance from Vader and Palpatine ? As it leads into Rogue One,either or both of them kind of have to be in it surely.

I’m hoping for neither.

 

I really don’t think Gilroy is interested in having either of them in it. At the most, a voice in the background or a shadow.

I think we might get a little Tarkin and some Mas Amedda, though.

 

When asked if Jyn Erso could show up he said only those who are important for the story and the characters. Darth Vader and Palpatine dosent add anything other then Fan Service. I think the most likely is Mass Amedda, Sly Moore and Grand Moff Tarkin. I would love a young chiss Captain in the background though

 

Watch we end up getting a Chopper background cameo

 

I am sure we will like in Rogue One and a Hera mentioned or in background

 

If there's one Rogue One connection I'm most interested in, it would be Bodhi Rook's defection.

 

I woundt rule out a Galen appearance

 

That would be great. It’s incredible how even Andor S1 enriches Rogue One. Just watched the latter, and when Melshi blasts into the transport on Wobani to break out Jyn, there’s a whole other emotional layer to it. This is the guy who escaped the Narskina Imperial prison with Cassian, and was the first in that group of prisoners to express rebellious thoughts. He’s all growed up as a Rebel commander now! You know a prequel has done it’s job when it improves on a film you already thought was near-perfect.

 

Me when we first saw Melshi in Andor:

 

I’d like there to be some reference to General Madine’s defection. Perhaps a passing remark during an ISB meeting.

My head canon has him buying his beard from the same perruquier that supplies Luthen’s syrups.

 

Three great interviews with Gilroy. These get me hyped not by being hype pablum, but by being just really smart storytelling stuff that he says.

And I see Bix is going to fall for Cassian again, but who is the women in the trailer with her hand on his face?

 

I wonder what’s going on there, as neither of them look concerned.

 

Maybe they're talking outdoors and it's a routine patrol of stormtroopers passing by in the street.

 

It's a great shot whatever is going on, compositions and colours so on point

They're both very good at not looking concerned, especially Luthen.

Are you guys talking about the young red-haired woman who hugs someone in the field in the Special Look? If so, it's hard to tell because it's such a quick shot, but I'm fairly certain that's Salman Paak, not Cassian.
