Hey while we're all on the digital de-aging train, why don't we pull in two supporting actors who figure heavily into the future yet could also feel right at home in this more grounded form of storytelling.

I'm speaking, of course, about Laura Dern and Richard E. Grant.

 

LD as Holdo would be a young teenager during that time, REG would be early 20s. Seeing as they use previous performance material to create a younger version, this could prove difficult with REG, he didn't appear on screen until the mid-80s, a decade after when Andor is set.

Thought a bit about the issue with Cassian's sister again.

I actually think it now possible that she's no one other than Jyn Erso. The child actress playing her really looks like a younger version of Jyn.

She may just have been adopted by Galen and his wife.

In case, it's her and not Bix (who i thought of as a candidate before), the reveal may just happen to other characters than Andor, who will never get to learn the truth.

Jyn Erso is Galen and Lyra's biological daughter. She isn’t Cassian’s sister lol.

 

Might be retconned, just like Cassian being from Fest

Cassian being from Fest isn’t completely retconned. They simply made it into part of Cassian’s cover story. Making Jyn Erso his sister would be a complete retcon and a poor one at that. What purpose would it serve if the characters themselves never even discover it? It would be a terrible idea that adds nothing to the storyline. Can’t see them doing that.

 

Maybe realizing the tragedy, when rewatching Rogue One again is what Gilroy is after.

Apparently some location shooting for season 2 is underway in Valencia.

…so we might be getting another planet like Naboo or Canto Bight, or perhaps something more sci-if looking.

 

It doesn’t apparently have that mix of architecture. It just does.

With season 2 I'm looking forward to bridging the gap between Andor season 1 and Rogue One,

Also looking forward to K2SO and Orson Krennic making an appearance and maybe Jyn Erso , Galen Erso and also more Saw Garrera.

 

Absolutely can’t wait. And Gilroy’s gotta give us Raddus and crew. Right?
