I think I prefer the first arc thus far, but I loved this. I’m basically 10 out of 10 on this season thus far.

I thought the pacing was brilliant in this. I have friends everywhere was much better than the middle show of the first arc. I can't split the openers...but harvest is just incredible

The deaths in Andor so far have not affected me outside of Maarva and Brasso. The minor characters are there and then gone, ok. And its just ransom deaths with no music feels off. Even my favorite movies and tv shows have music to deaths of important characters.

Releasing these episodes three at a time is a brilliant move. The slow burn momentum playing out over hours instead of weeks makes this show thrilling and feel much more tightly constructed.

I love the first season so it pains me to say that I’ve found this season to be incredibly un-engaging and frankly flat out boring. I really struggled to stay awake with the last 3 episodes and actually fell asleep twice. The show is putting me in a coma.

Loved this arched, much more so than last weeks arc. Luthen's comment about letting Ghorman burn brightly was great. I also liked when he said that his face hurt from smiling so much. Other people are suffering so much more than Lethen having to pretend to be nice to the people he hates at fancy party.

Of course it's less popular ..mando based on Saturday matinee adventure of the week. Andor is shakespeare Why are people obsessed with how popular something is? The audience figures are meaningless to me as I know many casual fans will not watch something when it drops as they say There are plenty of awful films that get a big audience. This is almost art house! It is also generational and the original fanbase has got old and distracted by life and the world that Andor holds a galactic mirror too
When the Acolyte was hated on it made me love it more... When prequels were turned on I defended them... when TFA broke all the box office records People were still calling it

You must be new to Fred posts. A Fred post has the value of a pop-up ad.

Its true though many people call Andor boring and nothing happens. I like it. But you didnt hear this complaint during the Mandalorian. The Mandalorian is entertainment and Andor is art. But Art does not gets its High praises until mutch later. You can disagree all you want, but thats how i see it.

Hard for me to fathom liking the first arc more than this one. To me, this was a true return to form after the great but slightly flawed first arc (mostly in terms of lopsided construction, with the Mina-Rau and especially wedding storylines being much more interesting than the Yavin one). This arc was taut, full of dread and incredibly rich in character development. I was riveted through every scene. But hey, to each his own: this is why we have discussion forums--not everyone sees things the same way!

And yes, this show IS more important than entertainment. . . . But it's also entertainment. It's incredibly entertaining; it's just a different style. More a prestige drama, as has been said many times, than a typically light Star Wars show.

I need more of the farmer aliens from the first arc. I love them.

And I need to know about the maniac who leads the Pledge of Allegiance in the Senate Hall.

Thats cause Jon Favearu tried to cram two shows into one. The Mandalorian and Rangers of the New Republic

Don't see an issue with that myself. We know that has to happen because of what happened with a certain character who was going to lead the other show...I loved season 3..like the others..I just love the variety..but I guess others think star wars as a single entity
