Andor Andor Season 2 Discussion (Spoliers Allowed)

I really like how Deedra is slowly losing her ****. She still tries to keep it all together, bundled up, but privately, and even in small glimpses outwardly, she's a wreck.

I can only imagine if this series had originally played out over 4 years as originally intended. But what we're getting is just perfect.

 

LucasFilm has a chance to make the fan base go absolutely nuts by having a Jyn Erso appearance in the last three episodes. Just in the background somewhere.

 

Im certain they will discuss/name drop her, and Galen.....Dispatching K2 to Wobani.

 

In the same way the RO leads right up to ANH this could do the same w RO. I did it.

 

I think we might see Galen Erso make a cameo as Krennic visits Galen for his progress

 

So I cried like a baby on Ghorman and then On Mon and then on Bix leaving and the thought of Bix searching for him and him being dead. My husband interrupted my watch by knocking on my headset while mon and cass were fleeing to make a dumb joke and probably to tell me he was going to bed and I might have been a bit too harsh in my response Ehehe I should go see if I still have a husband before posting more but

B. Bratt did a great job with the role. Loved him in it. Totally fine with changing things out like this, instead of using face-cg tech.

Hope to see him again in the finale.

 

Due to Andor's success, I think we will get more like it. I hope so anyway. Maybe the Rian Johnson trilogy will a remake of the OT.

 

I'm surprised we didn't see Krennic at all in the third arc, given that he kicked off the entire Ghorman operation back in the first episode.

 

Maybe we'll get an EP12 after credits scene where Mon is watching the DS blow up during the events of ANH and asking

Mon: "Great shot! Who's the pilot?"
Rebel at the comms: Uhhh. It's...some kid. named. Skywalker.

Mons eyes widened. She turns pale. "Sky....walk...er."

We didn't get those tactical unit guys. Those with the stormtrooper looking gear but no helmets... wonder where and when this is?

I hadn’t been too crazy about the idea of an Andor sequel series going into the three years between New Hope and Empire before now, but if it was done in the cinematic style of this arc it could be exceptional. The rebellion could use a little more fleshing out on-screen in that period imo given that Empire doesn’t focus too much on them post Hoth, and frankly I just want more Mothma

 

Having a three ep arc from grunt soldiers on Hoth would be horrifyingly excellent if they even wanted to overlap with the movies in a Rosencrantz & Gildenstern style way.

 

Once you have seen one massacre onscreen you have pretty much seen them all. Also knowing it's coming kind of lessens any impact.

The best part of the show for me was addressing the thing that differentiates SW from all other SF, The Force. Congrats to them, this is how ordinary people in the GFFA see it, all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

 

I am sure we get Palpatine next week. And I would not be surprised to see Phoenix squadron at least one or two of them in a cameo.

 

I think we might get the Grand Moff Tarkin make a cameo even if in the background.

I think not. They avoid cameos without purpose. I think me might see like Ghost on Yavin IV but no more. Palpatine seems unlikely himself but possible. Maybe he would appear as his pre-disfigured form as hologram as he did in Rebels.

 

For me Andor is better than all the products made by Dave Filoni even when the director doesnt like Star Wars i want to see more Star Wars in the style of Andor well written and mature the show reminds the old EU novels

 

Why is Oscar Isaac with all the cast in the story about the Andor finale that star wars just posted on insta? Are my eyes deceiving me? Near Benjamin Bratt?

What an amazing series this has been. I've enjoyed it on so many levels and feel it has surpassed season one. Well, I'll wait till next week to confirm that.
Couple of things. Did anyone catch the Massiff roasting on D'Qhar in episode five I think right after Dedra tells Syril Its good to see you happy?
I think we need to see more of Bail in the next few episodes to help us adjust plus his story is so important. Could there be a retcon death scene for him and he wasn't on Alderaan when it blew?
I made the bold prediction that Wilmon would live. I hope the same for Bix.

The time jumps were a necessary thing but it almost feels like there is too much we are missing and the characters who are developed so well are now exploring new ideas and feelings. Such as...I just don't see Bix overcoming the drug usage and depression to just make one murder mission and then she's better. Then decide to leave the man she's in love with. It's a heck of a sacrifice and she's great and all, just don't see her pulling this off. But again it's been another year later and a lot has changed.
I'll need to do a rewatch on Syril with his falling out with the Ghormans as it seemed they caught on to his lies and deception over the year?
Was there one single thing they found on him?
I look forward to seeing K2SO but we need some B2EMO to end the series.
Also some Saw and partisans action with a space battle using the X-Wings.
