    Spoilers...

Anyone think that Wes may give Conner to Holtz to raise as his own child, thereby giving justice to Holtz erasing any hatred he may have for Angel as well as saving Conner from Angel and and the two get sent back to Holtz's original time where Angel can't get either one?

Wow. I'd never even considered something like that. Very interesting theory, though I somewhat doubt it will happen.

If Wesley were to do that... . Well, there are some betrayals you can never forgive.

Well considering Wes might be dead  ...
    it kinda sucked.

    Not really though.

Don't you think that the whole father consuming the son thing has already been fulfilled?

And what do you think the odds are that Conner is Shaja? I think its odd that both Buffy and Angel introduce time-travel characters around the same time.

I doubt Connor and Holtz are dead. I don't think they'd write either chracter out so quickly.

As for Wes...I'd hate to see him go.

EDIT: Connor becomes Sahjhan? Interesting idea...and it perfectly explains his hatred for Angel though the two have never met.

Please, for the love of all things Marvel, don't pull an X-Men by turning Connor into this show's version of Cable. I've had quite enough of that in modern sci-fi these days.

I really doubt Wesley is dead, since Angel asked him if he knew where the nearest hospital was earlier in the episode. A little foreshadowing, maybe...

    Some unresolved issues:

    1. Justine. What will happen to her? Will Wesley or Angel seek revenge?

    2. How will Wolfram & Hart react to Angel's son suddenly disappearing. Remember, Lilah was acting on her own without the partners' approval.

    3. Who is Sahjhan and why does he hate Angel so much? And why was Holtz so eager to jump in the portal?

    4. And finally... What was in Connor's blood that the analysts at W&H missed? Just what is this kid supposed to be? Why does he even exist? Is he some sort of vessel or sacrificial lamb?

Oh yeah, and Angel ripping that one guy's arm off kicked all kinds of @$$. [face_devil]

OH man... I didn't even think of all the time travel implications!

    Ditto on the Cable/Connor comparison...

But Saja-whatever being Holtz is quite interesting... I don't know if that'll happen though...

And poor Wesley. Can that guy get beaten up any more? He better not be dead. :(

I was under the impression that Connor is just a normal human baby. Unless I'm mistaken, Angel normally drinks blood he gets from butcher shops and simply wasn't prepared for the taste of human blood again.

Maybe, but Sahjhan made a point to tell Lilah about it. Maybe he mixed the child's blood with some mystical aphrodesiac or something. Or Tang. :)

Here's a different take on the Sahjhan/Conner thing. Maybe Conner grows up to fight the forces of evil, and one of those forces is Sahjhan. So Sahjhan travels back in time to when Conner was a baby (ala The Terminator movies) in order to kill him. Of course this scenerio has all the problems associated with any time travel story but anything is possible. Especially this season.
I swear, every commercial break in tonights episode felt like a season ender to me. Can't believe we have to wait five weeks for a new episode (nothing new until April 15th). What's Wesley's status? Where are Conner and Holtz? What will become of Justine? What is Sahjhan's deal? Will the Groosilag stick around? What of Cordy's demonizing? ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!

Thats a good point about Angel asking where the closest hospital was.

The foreshadowing in the last few eps has been pretty blatant.

Everytime I saw Angel tip back a glass of blood I knew something was up.

I think that Sahjhan asked about the blood because it was his plan to put it in Angels.

About Lilah. Do you think that her mother will play a bigger upcoming role? Or do you think she has just been mentioned lately to show her almost "human" side?

One more thing I was thinking about while watching. How cool would it have been if Wes took Conner and they started a spin-off show :D
They could put it on Fox then almost everyone would have a Joss show :p

    Ho. Ly. Crap!!!

That episode was brutal! Who wants to bet that we'll see a grown-up Connor as this season's finale?

Anyone else notice Groo on a few other shows lately?

He was on ER last week, and friends this week. And he was still dressed in Angel's clothes!! He sure gets around. In LA he's dating Cordy, in Chicago he was dating Chen, and in New York he was dating Mona!

That last scene was one of the most intense I've seen...If Wesley survives, think Angel could ever forgive him?

I think from tonight's episode, it's pretty clear that forgiveness is not foremost on Angel's mind. You can't blame the guy, either. If I were in Angel's shoes, I would have injected a convenient air bubble or two (or 50) into Weasely's IV line.

I thought tonight's episode was great. I'm also glad the "Connor is Sajhan" idea that was brought up in here didn't turn out to be true. And while I love when Angel goes dark, I hope that after this is all over, he gets to be happy go-lucky for a while.

I sort of thought the whole 'forgive Wesley' thing was going too easily. I was actually rooting for Angel there at the end. ;)

"It's me, Angel. Not Angellus. I just wanted you to know that when I did THIS!!!!"

    Wow!!

I'm also glad that the Connor/Sajan thing didn't happen. It's an interesting plot twist that the prophesy turned out to be a hoax. I hadn't considered that approach, though; I've gotta hand it to Sajan for originality.

That was also a nice bit of music they used for the episode preview; plus, it's a bit of a pun: music for a show about a vampire by a group called Dead Can Dance. Funny. Especially since Angel can't dance.

What makes the Angel/Wesley conflict so great is that you can sympathize with both of them. When Wesley took Connor, he thought he was saving the boy's life, and Angel's enraged because his son was taken from him.

Kinda missed Cordy and Gru last night. Hopefully they'll be back next week.

Great episode... so glad my favorite show is back with new episodes.

The ending was great. Talk about 'issues' between those two.
The prophecy/hoax was genius, what a play on all that suspense that they'd building up forever.
Side note, loved the editing on the big fight.

Rationally, I'm sure Angel understood why Wesley did what he did. He said as much in his final speech. But y'know, when you've been knifed in the back as badly as Angel has, "rational" is the last thing you're going to be. Wesley deserves to burn.
