Well, usually when a guy says "You're cute when you're angry." It means I just totally ****ing slaughtered an argument he had and he's too pansy-assed to admit it. And beyond that scenario it's pretty belittling to start objectifying someone when they're agitated and trying to talk through something with you. Very weak and condescending. And annoying when they're of below average intelligence.

It's different when you admire someone's feistiness or passion and refusal to compromise for their values or some such like that. I guess maybe if they're angry at something else that isn't you that's okay. Depending, ha.


But really, it's such a trivial personality thing overall . . . If someone doesn't naturally respect my mind or feelings then it's more convenient to just ignore them. Because there are plenty of people out there who will, and generally that type of person just isn't worth the argument.

 

That's exactly what I was talking about. I was never under the impression that this thread was discussing whether or not using "you're sexy when you're angry, baby" is a totally awesome way to get the upper hand in an argument or some such. I just find the expression of passionate anger to be attractive, whether it's directed at me or someone or something else entirely. Gives me a woody 'n' such. Can't help it, just happens.

 

"You're cute when you're angry" is a falsehood... true angry sex is something different... I guess what I mean to say is, true emotions are hot... emotions for the purpose of appearance, and image are fake.... and it takes a good real person to know the difference...

 

Yeah, but it's creepy. Desiring passionate anger doesn't seem safe or healthy. I guess I probably just like love with sex too much. But anger leads to John Wayne Bobbitt's penis vs. Mrs. Bobbitt's butcher knife or black eyes & broken arms. And if I like someone enough to want to **** them then I don't want them to be angry. And if he liked for me to be actually be angry then we're not really in the same emotional realm at all. :\

I can dig using sex to let off some steam when it comes to being pissed about your boss or some such . . . But being angry with someone is so emotionally disquieting for me that not working through it and just having sex makes me feel really ill. I think I get really physically sensitive to certain emotions, though. And the cognitive dissonance of "You're ****ing pissing me off" and "I want you inside me" just makes my throat, chest, and within the base of my skull feel like it's rotting out. It doesn't make me feel safe with the person.

Course if someone else digs it, I don't think they're less of a person or that their tastes are any less valid. I just don't want to sleep with them.

- the cuteness = angry. Anger generally leads people to lashing out in words or violence. Even minor anger seems to make people think bad things about others . . .

 

No, I'm not really talking about hateful, murderous rage. The fact that you have something akin to that quietly bubbling within you (when not uncorked) is interesting to me, though. I'd always thought you to be a particularly mild-mannered person.

Lol, what do you mean mild-mannered? I'm always bitching about gender roles and utah culture and people's inability to be honest about their feelings. It seems that online especially I come across as irritable and uptight, heh.

But I don't ever really experience "rage." I'm certain everybody gets those little bursts of anger that make them say things they regret though. Or wished something unfortunate would happen to someone so that they would learn their lesson. But if someone I'm screwing feels that towards me then I want to heal what's between us ASAP. And that only seems to work with communication . . . Having sex would just be covering the situation up.

Lol, you haven't seen me anywhere near pissed- when I'm pissed I start crying and it makes me even more agitated because I can't stop. Because then people can't listen to what I'm saying, they just want to make me stop crying.

Also, in the past I've been able to come up with things that can cut people deep based on their insecurities. But I don't really get so defensive anymore at all. If someone somehow gets me to a point where I might lash out to protect myself I'm smart enough to get out of there and come back when I can deal with it better. Heh, I growed up.

I like being angry, I like it when it's something that involves venting, action or reaction.


But then you try to add some sort of 'sexy' angle to it? Why? Is it because in modern society, the event of a female actually expressing anger instead of doing the passive-agressive dance turns you on?
