*sulks that they didnt release .hack//Lumility DVD collection...* now i gotta buy a 50 dollar game for a 45 minute OVA!! THATS IMPOSSIBLE

As I've said before, it's like that because Luminality is tied in with the story of the game and would be pointless to watch if you aren't playing the game. The only reason Luminality exists is to provide clues for the game.

No I mean dubbed down. Dub has multiple meanings so please don't be limited and only think of the meaning you used

And I have no idea what you mean...

I do think Selim is his real son. Don't forget Pride is the only homunculus that can age and if he can age I'm sure he can reproduce

Besides his kid is 10 years old, I'm sure the homunculus is in command far longer then that. Infact isn't it almost 20 years? Way before Ishbal :p

And none of that dawned on me... doh. An intresting cunundrum. The childs random appearance does seem to be a hint as to things to come, such as the film.

So...what's his father doing in his third impact experience

Third Impact experiances are weird, all inclusive things. AKA: Who knows? :p

I haven't seen Girls Bravo not interested at the moment.

I can suggest it. A fairly funny harem show. I've never actually laughed at one of them before this.

Chrono Crusade is that a sequel to a game with the main character called Chrono who had to travel through time inorder to defeat Lavos, a creature from outerspace that was feeding on Earth?

Actually, it was name copyrighting issues that lead to the name Chrno Crusade. So really, the authors original intent was to name it Chrono Crusade. In a way, America got the "real" title, while Japan didn't.

I believe Trell had the interest to finish the show. He said the ending was sad.

Never before has the sad little emo child in me been let lose as when I saw that. :(

Oh well I would suggest but then again the words prejudice and ignorant fans are in the way.

Hey, I can't even stand Naruto, I doubt I could like DBZ. It isn't prejudice for all of us, but simple dislike.

RebelScum, truth told, if you want the complete .hack story, you do need to play those games.

Ok, after seeing FMA 49, that was just... wierd. Especially when Beethoven's 5th started playing. I was seriously thinking of Evangelion (even though they use Beethoven's 9th in Evangelion).... TRELL IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!

Anyway, yes, that was a good episode. Now I wonder what is going to happen in 50 and 51. It leaves the possibilities open.

Oh well this morning I was at episode 37 and now I'm at episode 53 of Dragonball Z. I really like this show uncut with the original voices, music and soundeffect intact. Especially the soundeffects, so may of them are from Gundam. The Zaku scanning eye, Newtype ping and many others. Fun to listen to. Oh well I would suggest but then again the words prejudice and ignorant fans are in the way.

I remember watching fansubs (this is back when fansub meant worn out VHS) of DBZ back in '95. I believe it was the Freisa (sp?) Saga. I didn't really think very much of it then, either. It still seemed too slow and frustrating to watch.

I didn't know there were sound effects from G***** used in DBZ, though. I think I remember reading somewhere that the sounds in 0079 were taken from a previous sci-fi anime but I can't remember what it was.

There are multiple meanings to the word dubbed. I didn't meant the one you were referring too. Use dictionary kthx?

    such as the film.

Thank you for stating the obvious ;)

I meant the latest episodes :p

Are we talking about Chrono with Lavos and time travelling or Chrono with demons and all?

Hey, I can't even stand Naruto, I doubt I could like DBZ. It isn't prejudice for all of us, but simple dislike.

    John is right again :)

Not sure what you mean with frustrating. Slowness is something that was always exaggerated if you ask me. It happened once in a really bad way (the famous 5 minutes) and it happens all the time.
Truth to be told I'm enjoying this show more then SEED, Wing and heck ZZ at the moment. Although that's not hard to do.

    edit:

I agree with John on the issue that most anime fans tend to distance themselves from stuff once it becomes more popular. But I didn't even like any of the examples he gave anyway, except maybe Akira.

And yeah, I would be suprised if Naruto doesn't become the next Toonami fad in the next couple of years. In fact, I'm suprised it hasn't been shown on Toonami already. I wonder what's taking so long?

Not sure what you mean with frustrating.

I either wanted them to just fight already or move on with the plot.

Slowness is something that was always exaggerated if you ask me.

The show had it moments when it was more about story. But whenever it would get to battles it would just drag on and on and on.

Define it for me then, kthxbai. Dork.

    My pleasure.

    Ah. Okay. Loser.

Are we talking about Chrono with Lavos and time travelling or Chrono with demons and all?

I'm talking about the one with demons name in the US and Japan.

    John is right again

Not really, since I know the two are very different. I was just commenting on my general dislike of shounen fighting shows. I'm still amazed that I like Yuyu Hakusho as much as I do. Then again, it is wearing thin at this point.

Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross games, with Chrono Crusade anime...gah! Brain overload!

And there's supposed to be a new game in the works: Chrono Break.

I'll tell you what just broke, my brain.

And now I post according to having a broken brain.

DBZ Fan 1: "Well, I've seen Akira, and Ghost in the Shell, and I still sayDragonball Z is the best!"

Randy: "You fools! Wild tentacles raping innocent schoolgirls! That's what anime's all about! Besides, I've seen MD Geist four-hundred times!"

DBZ Fan 1: "Argh, that's crap!"

    Randy: "Dragonball's crap."

DBZ Fan 1: "Goku could kick Geist's ass."

Randy 1: "If Goku's so cool, why's he always dead?"

DBZ Fan 1: "What do you mean dead? He was just in another dimension!"

DBZ Fan 2: "Heh, it's better than that Sailor Moon crap."

Suzie: "In the name of the moon, I shal punish you!"

    *punch*
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
Macek: "...no, it wasn?t due to the popularity of X-men, but rather to cash in on the American belief that all anime is porn. And that?s why we decided to call it Samurai X."

Marti: ?That?s very interesting, Mr. Macek. But what about Japanese animation on TV? When you syndicate an anime, you remove any cultural references, mask out any kanji, and turn it into a little kids? show.?

    Macek: ?That is completely untrue.?

Eddie: ?Yo, Marti, those clips you wanted are ready.?

Marti: ?Thanks, Eddie, Well, let?s take a look.?

ATARU: ?I gotta catch her now!?

Tatewake kuno: ?Get ready for trouble! Yeah!?

Kodachi kuno: ?And make it double!?

Daisaku: ?Giant Robo, I choose you!?

    Robo: ?Ro-bo!?

PANEL GUY #1: ?That was out of context! That was nothing like Pokemon!?

PANEL GUY #2: ?Officer Ginrei & Nurse Lum are completely unrelated characters.?

Marti: ?Well, enough about the mainstream, let?s talk about the fan market. So, gentlemen, why is it that subs cost more than dubs? Is it because you KNOW the Otaku will pay it??

PANEL GUY #2: ?Letters aren?t cheap! And there?s an awful lot of them in anime!?

PANEL GUY #1: ?And that?s not the half of it! We have to import the audio all the way from Japan!?

MARTI: ?Oh, I had no idea it was so expensive. That must explain all the product placement you?ve been putting into new anime releases. Such as in these clips, hmmm??

PANEL GUY #2: ?No you can?t!?

    PANEL GUY #1: ?Uh-oh. We?re in trouble.?

AISHA (deflated and hungry): ?I could really go for a Happy Meal with the free Outlaw Star toy. Mrow.?

COUNT D: ?Would you care for some Snapple brand iced tea? It?s made from the best stuff on earth, you know.?

PANEL GUY1: ?I??m sure we have an answer for that. Carl??

    Macek: ?I?m thinking??

    PANEL GUY #2: ?We?re ****ED!?

MACEK: ?Bing-bong! Was that the bell? Well, I?d really love to stay and discuss this, but there is an episode of Pokemon we simply must catch?

MARTI: ?Too bad, I was just about to bring up Robotech..."
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
SUZIE: "...and after that I saw another really cool show.?

RANDY (heavy sarcasm): ?That sounds incredibly interesting. Oh, please, do go on.?

SUZIE: ?So there was this girl and her name was Fancy La-La and she took this magic wand and turned herself into a pop star and she draws outfits on paper and they become real...?

RANDY: (thinking) ?Oh, if I had a Magic wand I?d show her a fancy la-la. Hey, magical girl, how do you like THIS transformation??

SUZIE: ?Randy? Randy? Are you listening to me??

RANDY: (still thinking) ?Oooh yeah, that tickles."

SUZIE: ?RANDY! What are you doing?????!!!!!?

RANDY: ?Uh nothing! I wasn?t imagining that I was a tentacle monster having my way with you!?

SUZIE (stomping on him): ?You were being a pervert again, weren't you!??

RANDY: ?Ooooh! Feels so good! Oh yeah! Ooohh!?

At the moment I have to say One Piece. Its also a bit more Japanese then the other standard shounens.

I either wanted them to just fight already or move on with the plot.

Ah yes, in that kind of case its actual good to spoil yourself. It kind of helps if you know when they endlessly fight or when they go on with the plot.
Naruto only had this with two moments in my opinions, that's the first storyarc and the second exam.

But whenever it would get to battles it would just drag on and on and on.

I think its because of the fans. I admit the show got too popular for its own good. Especially in Japan, considering it resulted that the creator listened to the fans. Hence the long battles and the bad ending.

i just got around to watching the love hina spring movie. it was pretty good--glad to hear the closing music again, i like the music a lot from that show (i don't own it and it's been quite awhile since i've seen it).

i haven't been watching much anime over the last couple of weeks as i've been occupied w/ the sims 2 and now my OT dvd set. i did send away for the live-action SM dvds yesterday, though, so i will be enveloped in that again soon.

i watched texhnolyze volume 3 awhile back and that was awesome, as expected. only a month now until the 4th volume *sigh* and a couple of weeks until the second OST is released.

Well, I bought the first Last Exile DVD last winter, and while I admired its technical prowess, I just couldn't get into it. I tried several times - but it just didn't click for me.

Lately, however, I've fallen in love with the design style of Range Murata, and now I have a reason to watch Last Exile! I'm enjoying it much more now, now that I'm conscious of Murata-san's sublime designs.
Once you look at them, really look at them, you grasp his beautiful design theories. Art deco, futurism, all with a stylized, streamlined, aerodynamic finish. Just gorgeous.

Okay... amazing. I have just seen a promo for Aim for the Top! 2. Kick ass woman on Vespa with a cool helmet and white scarf.... Gotta love Gainax. There's also a scene that looks rather like one out of the final episode of Mahoromatic. Gainax can pull off ripping itself off like nobody else can. This definitally has a FLCL animation vibe to it. Also, in it it says that Anno was part of planning this. Can't say how true that is. Could be he was consulted a bit and they tacked his name on, could be that he really did do a lot of work.

I should mention that I've finally seen 3 episodes of Aim for the Top! Stopped randomly. I watched it Monday, and have no time for anything on Tuesdays. I sposs that hurt it all. I do need to finish it this week.
