Anyone else find Paula Deen terrifying?

Anyone else terrified of the Food Network's Paula Deen? I don't know what it is about her. The maniacal, glassy-eyed stare? The grating, wraith-like laughter? The demonic smile?

Somehow I keep expecting her to pull out a butcher's knife and plunge it into the chest of one of the guests on her TV show. I then picture her continuing to detail the recipe she was working on as if nothing amiss had happened, while the people in the audience scream in horror.

Paula Deen. What gives?

I have seen this show once. I do NOT like the show. I never will.

The only show that involves cooking that I like, besides the Andrew Zimmern and Anthony Bourdain shows on Travel Channel, is Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on BBC America. NOT the version of the same show that appeared on Fox, I speak ONLY of the BBC America version.

 

Alton Brown > all other TV chefs.

 

She looks scary to me, rsterling.

She can barely talk. Her voice sounds like a constant hiccup. And her sons annoy the ever-loving **** out of me. "Was that good, Brother?" "Yes, Brother."

Dear God, Paula's fallen victim to the Joker's venom, leaving her with a ghoulish rictus grin.

 

Mario Vitali is so much better. And Alton Brown. And Emeril Legossi. And Bobby Flay. And Giada Laurentis.

Not Rachel Ray though. She scares me.

How do you people sleep at night with that trolling your channels, stalking you with that terrifyingly vapid leer, threatening to leap from the shadows of your televisions at any moment?

 

I find her curiously arousing....

 

The way she smile is the kind that keeps you up at night making sure you're closet door is shut and you're drapes are drawn... then again I have no idea who she is
