Did you post that on GameFAQs? I thought I just saw it.

I love the originality of it. Very funny. :p

hahah, no I don't post there

Anyway, have any of you come upon the turret-launcher thing?

I was playing Dead Air with some people the other night and we got to the finale, in which one person told us to melee the turret gun and then jump on it to leap onto the wing of the airplane. Me and the others in the group were like, "WTH?"

But we hit it a few times then leapt on it--and it shot some of us ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE MAP. WTH!

After several rescues and revivals, we finally managed the jump onto the wing (instead of out of the map). Apparently these works on ALL turret guns in the game.

...how do people learn to do things like this?

Is anyone aware of a glitch on the finale of Blood Harvest in which the players controlling the Special Infected can somehow trap the Tank somewhere on the map? The rescue vehicle won't arrive until the Survivors have killed two Tanks, and my team and I spent a good 10 or so minutes running around the barn and house looking for the last Tank without success.

That glitch works for both versus campaigns.

    It is extremely infuriating.

I'm still not sure how to do it. If the Tank doesn't attack the survivors, shouldn't the infected team lose control of it?

This is why I don't play with people I don't know IRL. Griefers just ruin games for everyone and often times its impossible to tell who is one until it's too late. So I just avoid em.

I hate playing with morons who either fall behind or run off on their own and set off car alarms.

I've still not had any real good cohesive groups in L4D, but then again, I haven't played it that much.

I've had a few really good teams, and I usually play now only if they're online.

I'd recommend playing with people you know, or even people from this site.

You went out like a hero, my friend i also did that on the boathouse ending.....until the tank came along.
Usually i play as louis. i like the dual pistols the best. that game is awesome. This is cowardice i know but, usually when the tank comes i hide in a bathroom or a closet. then my stupid cp controlled allies opened the door up. The game is twice as good on splitscreen.

Had a great game last night with some friends. We finished Blood Harvest and were debating a 2nd run and finally settled on Dead Air. It was already pretty late and we wound up wiping on the 2nd level where you have to burn down the barricade. When we respawned back in the saferoom we decided to call it a night. Someone said "So that's it then? A murder/suicide pact?" I simply said "Done" and threw a Molotov in between the 3 of them who were all clumped together. This led to a half hour of "one-room deathmatches" as we kept killing each other while the game kept resetting. Great fun. :p

Yeah it really is worth it. But I would only recommend it if you have Xbox Live or if you play online with your PC. Playing it by yourself is meh, but nothing beats a solid online game with good teammates. And make sure you have a mic, a lot of people find it very irritating to play with someone they can't talk with. I don't blame them, I mean L4D was made to be a solid team game, and communication is key.

Yes i agree, left 4 dead is a fun game to play with a friend(s). the AI on L4D is on the stupid side(not the zombies, they are smart...[face_plain]. However your teammates are dumb.) For example i was minding my own buisness fighting off zombies, then the tank showed up(i could feel the vibrations/RAAARGH!!)then i tried to hide in the closet until the tank died. then the teammates opened the door up, i close it, they open it, ect ect. eventually the tank finds me, & punches me halfway across the state......

I have L4D and I think its fun. Out of all the Zombie games its my favorite. Thing is I'm kinda sick of zombie games. But its a good one. Defiently play with friends though. I find little appeal in the single player.

Now playing AS the zombies is probably one of the best multi-player options for a long time.

Good game, not all that fun on your own.

Yeah i have to admit, the AI in single player is what keeps the game from reaching absolute perfectness. You should really try playing online though, paying $50 for a year of Xbox Live and
having L4D is definitely worth it.

Quick question... is L4D coming out on the PS3 system soon or is it even in production for the system yet?

I don't think so...If I'm correct Valve and microsoft have a deal now which is why Valve games have started coming to the 360 but I don't think they are making it for PS3.

Yeah I don't think Valve would release it on PS3. Your best bet would be to go ahead and get it for PC (it would help your cause if you had a gaming computer.) Another reason why Xbox 360 > PS3.
