AOTC DVD party/Meeting #8

After discussing the idea of a party celebrating the release of the AOTC DVD, I'd like to announce that Darth-Zod has volunteered to host the party (and Fanforce meeting) at his house.

In the interest of time, the meeting will begin @ Darth-Zod's house (contact him via PM for directions) at around 1:00pm...with the movie starting immediatly following.

If you have any questions, contact members of "the council."

The 16th looks good for me as well. Lemme know when we settle a date so I can pencil it in my hectic schedule.

I'm in Brooklyn. If you know where the Plain Dealer plant is next to I480, then you'll have no problems finding my house. More directions later.

 

Force! Jocasta Nu has me scheduled to work in the Jedi Archives that day. (Note to GL: Please send Jocasta to a beautician and have her get rid of those chopsticks in her hair!) Perhaps I'll get to meet you all another day.

 

Actually, Emily's our Archivist, but it's all good...

Random, Jedi Archives is just what I call the place I work at in this galaxy--just to make it more bearable! (Smiles) I'm not trying to take over Emily's position.

 

It's definatly going to be the 16th...so go ahead and pencil it in.

Should we all bring something in terms of food, drinks, supplies? I think we'll only need 1 copy of the DVD for this

 

you could all bring dvd's, set up a few tv's and then you have surround sound and vision!

 

Like I told Geoff last night, I have the short film George Lucas in Love on dvd, I could bring it if you guys/gals want.

 

Sorry I wont be able to attend. Work. I have Troops on DVD if someone would like to borroy it for the event. COTS too. But I'm sure if one of the TBX guys is coming then they will bring it too.

 

I know I won't be able to make it. My mom is moving that weekend and the following weekend so I'm stuck hauling boxes.

 

Sorry to hear you guys can't make it...you know, if GrnJalera got Anrev and some ROP jedi together...moving those boxes wouldn't take nearly as long

 

and some RoP Jedi together. Not me! I'm going to be moving boxes about a week or two before that, I'm helping my sis move into her new house.

I can come, as long as nothing really changes.

 

Thank, but I'll be ok. I have to move my comic book and toy collection from her old house to her new one. Then I get to move her stuff. Oh. Joy.

I can just see it, everyone starts digging through boxes reading comics and playing with toys and nothing gets moved. I'm gonna have a hard enough time keeping myself outta those boxes without worrying about everyone else!

 

FYI: The announcment on Fanforce.net said the party was Saturday November 12th (a Tuesday) Bobafemme is changing that to read the right day...

My sympathies, Grn. One comic doesn't weigh a whole lot, a whole box of comics does.

 

Try around 6000 comics in about 40 of the short comic boxes. Then about 25 boxes full of toys.

ugh.

 

Ouch. I have 23 long boxes I'm thinking of moving to my basement.

 

I should be able to go. I'll have to ask my parents, obviously, but I don't think that I should have a problem.

 

I don't think I need to say it but I can go so far.

 

Darth-Zod, any good pizza places near you? We should order one of those large sheet pizzas, and have people bring chips/pop/snacks.

There is a place called "All-Star Pizza" in Parma...good size 'zza for a fair price.
