Here's the plan:

Right now, there is already an *OFFICIAL* Bloopers and Easter Eggs Thread. However, as anyone who has visited the thread will agree with, it's not organized, and many of the same bloopers are repeated over and over again.

What I would like to do, using that thread, and our AOTC DVDs (or VHSs) as guides, is to create a chronological listing of all the various bloopers and Easter Eggs found in AOTC. When I say chronological, I mean the order in which they appear in the movie. Therefore, hearing the Wilhelm scream in the opening assassination attempt would be near the top of the list, while the rumor of seeing "1138" in the sand while Padme rolls down the hill would be near the end. A lot of the bloopers and Easter eggs in the thread linked to above are either repetitive, have been officially confirmed, or can easily be proven wrong now by checking the AOTC DVD.

As many of the bloopers and Easter eggs haven't been confirmed, and many of them are impossible to confirm, as they deal with personal opinions (such as the "1138" in the sand), I think some sort of rating should be placed next to the blooper or Easter Egg. A "1" could mean that a blooper is officially confirmed, while a "2" could mean that the vast majority of the fans think that it is a blooper or Easter egg. A "3" could represent that the fans are evenly split on whether or not it is there. Further down the line, a "4" could mean that a few fans think that it is, while a "5" could denote that only a couple people think it is a blooper or Easter egg, so chances are that it isn't. Also, it wouldn't hurt to put a "B" or an "E" next to each item, to denote whether it is a Blooper or an Easter egg.

For those who aren't sure of the terminology, a "blooper" is an accident that was made while filming that wasn't noticed or fixed. An example of a blooper would be when a character's lightsaber switches what side of the body it is hanging on in the middle of a scene. An "Easter egg" is something that is hidden in the film, that only people looking closely or people who are extreme fans would notice. An example of an Easter egg would be the X-Wings and TIE Fighters seen during the speeder chase.

I will periodically be editing the various bloopers and Easter eggs into this first post, so that eventually, this thread will contain a nice listing of every blooper or Easter egg found in AOTC.

Here is that list:

Here is how everything is laid out:
Scene
(Letter denoting whether it is a blooper or Easter egg) Description of the blooper or Easter egg. (rating on how valid the source is)
(Letter for next blooper or Easter egg in that scene) Description of the next blooper or Easter egg. (rating)
[hl=black]The definitive list of bloopers and Easter eggs found in Attack of the Clones[/hl]

The opening assassination attempt
(E) Right after the opening scroll and the camera pans up, the USS Voyager can be seen moving from center screen to lower right hand corner. One of the N-1's block it for a second. (3)
(B) When Padme's royal starship enters Courascant for one quick second a building dissapears and then reappears and dissappears again. (4)
(E) The "Wilhelm scream", a scream from an old Western that Ben Burtt likes to include in many of his films, can be heard during the explosion. (1)
(B) If you watch the foot placements of the people walking down the ramp, they get down to a certain point, yet are magically higher up the ramp when the explosion takes place. (2)
(E) The explosion literally blown Corde out of her shoes. (3)

First scenes on Coruscant
(B) While Yoda walks to Padme and says "Seeing you alive brings...", look when he stands up from the chair and starts to walk. He walks and walks, but he never passes the chair. Next clip is showing him quite a bit behind the chair moving towards Padme. (2)
(B) The orientation of the elevator relative to Padme's apartment from the exterior

Great idea YodaJeff

Well there's Anthony Daniles, Amhed Best and Geroge Lucas' daughter in the night club.

And there's Jett Lucas in the Jedi Temple (I think he's the kid who bows to Jocasta Nu)

I have two bloopers to share (both concern lightsabers):

- Ki-Adi Mundi's lightsaber changes to green during a brief shot in the Arena battle

- when Obi-Wan throws Anakin his blue lightsaber, Anakin grabs the blue lightsaber in his left hand, then in the next sequence when he fights Dooku with both sabers, the blue saber is in his right hand

Now before anybody blames Lucas for this, this type of situation would be the fault of the guys at ILM.

you can see various jedi with 2 lightsabers in different parts of the arena battle
one is with threepio...i forget which. i think its where he gets knocked over by kit fisto. directly to the right of him is a jedi with 2 sabers...he stabs a battle droid on the ground and kills another thats still up
when anakin and obi-wan get off the gunship and start running into the hangar after dooku...you can see a clonetrooper get off with them. in the next shot from far away...you see that clonetrooper get shot by the gun's dooku had protecting him...and the clonetrooper falls off the hangar ledge
theres the jango hitting his head on the slave 1...but everybody knows that

Don't forget the all-in-one button:

On Tatooine, Amidala presses a button to retransmit the message from Obi-wan. A moment later, she presses the same button to bring up the map showing Obi-wan's location and the distances between Tatooine and Couruscant. Not only does this same button do double duty, but with one press it knows she wants to show the location of the three planets.

And Jango banging his head, a slight nod to the clumsy stormtrooper in ANH.

When Obi-Wan goes to capture Jango, he is about to move crates into the ship, but when Jango escapes, the crates are gone.

That's all I think of just now.

Heres some Bloopers

1) When Mace Windu jumps off the balcony after Jango Fett throws fire at him,
Windu faces the camera and fights off blaster fire. But, in the background
Behind him comes the incoming droids into the arena. Why wasn't he facing the
high numbers of incoming droids?

2) Mace Windus lightsaber changes from purple to dark purple to blue through out the entire arena battle, When he gets on the gunship it's all blue

3) In the speeder chase Obi Wan says "Anakin how many times have I told you to
stay away from the power cupplings", you will see a piece of Obi Wan's hair
come undone. But in the next scene his hair is all nice and combed.

4)In the beginning when Yoda walks to Padme and says "Seeing you alive brings..." look when he stands up from the chair and starts to walk. He walks and walks, but he never passes the chair. Next clip is showing him quite a bit behind the chair moving towards Padme.

5) When Obi-wan first enters the droid building operation on Geonosis, his
lightsaber switches from his right side in one scene, to his left in the next.

Actually, this isn't a blooper. Right before she goes to press the button a second time, her other arm reaches off-screen and presses a "shift" like button.

This is impossible, if you watch it (the second time she pusjes the button) she pushes it, then the camera shifts back to a view of both her and Anakin, her spare arm is resting on her leg, but her other hand is still pushing the button. She couldn't have pushed a 'shift' button. That is just an excuse somebody made up.

Right before she pushes the button her other arm goes off camera, then she pushes the button. It's not impossible.

It would be pretty hard to have your hand on your leg, then push a button, hold it, use your other hand to tap a shift button, then put your hand back in the exact the same spot in the space of 1½ secs.

If you want to disagree that's fine, I know there's people on my side, and I know there's people on your side. People just want to believe there is a shift button, to deny the fact that it's a mistake.

I don't want to argue, but go watch this scene again, in slow motion. Right after she tells Anakin "they'd have to travel halfway across the galaxy...", her left hand pushes a button, then her right hand pushes the button she did before. We even hear the sound of her pushing the other button when it cuts to her about to push the button she did before. It is there, and it's not a mistake :)

I think the list is up-to-date again.

For the "magical button", I gave it a rating of "3", since half the people think there is a shift button, and the other half disagree.

OK, I'll check again, but I'm sure you're wrong.

Eitehr way, YodaJeff made a good decision by making it a 3.

You can't forget:
- in the scene when Anakin and Padme are talking (about aggressive negotiations etc) and eating, Padme uses the force to give padme the piece of pear, and when she takes a bite, part of the piece eaten disappears before she puts it in her mouth (just before she goes to eat it)

-and the appearance of the death star (not sure if an actual easter egg)
-and in the final battle with Obi-wan and Dooku. The close up of Obi-wan just before he gets sliced appears to show him holding his lightsaber (the one he constructed), and not the one he was given in the arena.

-and when we see anakin with 2 lightsabers 9the side on image),we dont see obi-wan who was just near them (must have been cut out for some reason)

The piece of the fruit that Anakin cuts is much larger than the piece that Padme receives.

I hope you have the WS version or you'll never see the Sailboat (sorry about all the Mall Rats material, but that movie rules). When the refuge ship lands in Theed the Corleian frighters are on the far left part of the screen. Don't blink or you'll miss them.

In the Yoda and the Younglings scene, an alien kid is standing in the back row (when they say, "Hello Master Kenobi") and then when they switch back to Obi and Yoda, the kid is right in the front. Then when they turn back to Yoda after checking out the hologram of the galaxy, he's not in the front anymore.
