I remember subliminal messaging done by my teacher ("I will get a 5 on the AP") helped on the AB Calc test.
My 5 in Mircoecomonics was helped greatly by the Kaplan review book.
Stupid AP American! I only got a 4.

BF, how did u get a 4? i'm in awe of u right now. the avg score for our school is like a 2. im taking it this year and i am scared.

i'm also taking the AP psych and English Lang and Comp. i'm nervous about the psych one bc i have no clue as to what i''m doing. Eng my teacher said she would be in shock if i don't get a 5

Our class did a review about 2-3 weeks before the test, going over the multiple choice section of previous tests. We had experience in AP-style essays, so we were alright there. American History is one of my favorite subjects, so there was a little spark there.

But I gotta say the teachers at Bronx Science know what they're doing (mad props to Mr. Reutershan [calc], Mrs. Williams [micro] and Mrs. Heenan [American]).

IB is infinitely superior to AP in all ways.

The IB program usually consists of AP courses.

I think I blocked all the AP tests I took out of my memory, except English. That test was seriously awesome and didn't feel like a test at all.

Darth_Guy, on what planet? The IB curriculum is set world-wide, so every kid taking IB Biology Higher Level is learning the exact same objectives. You can't get that in AP classes, which are just whatever the school decides to call 'Advanced Placement'.

AFAIK, IB is international and AP is national. At my school, IB classes and AP classes are the same(since there usually aren't enough IB students to fill one class), save for the fact that the IB students take a different test at the end of the year. That may be unique to my school/district/state, though, since I'm only getting this from my experience.

I'm taking the AP Human Geography test in a couple weeks. I think I'll do pretty well on it, but I still dread the actual taking of it.

All the people I knew that went crazy about these AP tests ended up becoming communications majors and such. Worthless.

I'm taking the AP US History test in early May. (I can't remember if it's the 1st or the 7th.) Anyway, I feel like I'll do pretty well. I'm reviewing like crazy right now, re-reading a book called "Don't Know Much About History" and going to all the review sessions offered. I feel like I'm adequately prepared though. :)
