APA Format Blows...

What would normally take me maybe a couple hours is taking all day because let's face it- APA format sucks. So I propose for someone to invent a new writing format that is fun...starting now. GO!

 

I do agree that APA is an incredibly disagreeable format. I was trained on MLA, but I'm a Chicago style man, myself.

Last semester I had two honors college classes. One professor insisted on MLA format while the other insisted on APA. So much useless information ingrained in my head now. Trying to keep everything straight when each class on average had a paper due every Tuesday resulted in many errors.

My high school taught me MLA but my university uses APA. Frustration occurred during my freshmen year.

 

I just got my BS in Psychology so I am very familar with APA. Once you get down the basics it isn't that hard.

 

Hey then you'd be excellent to ask for tips since I'm taking General Psych right now. Yay!

 

Sure what kind of tips would you like. Though I didn't do as well in General Psychology. I did much better in the upper division classes.

 

Chicago>>>>MLA>APA

 

I agree. Mostly because in IB History in hs, my teacher was really big on Chicago Manual, so it's the only one I ever learned really well. Which is why I still use EasyBib.com for my English papers. And I'm an English major.

I've had to use APA format only once so far... for Psychology.

 

Enjoy APA formatting. I had to learn it for High School. I have never once used it in college or in my job. APA is a waste of time.
