Summary: Obi-Wan?s first attempt to build a lightsaber isn?t going well, and he doesn?t want to talk about it. Qui-Gon needs to figure out how to help.
Author Note: This story is set in my made-up ?alternate EU.? Obi-Wan?s backstory is quite different from in the JA books, but you don?t need to know the whole thing for the story to make sense. Just suspend disbelief and come along for the ride.

This story owes quite a lot to a story called ?Young Beginnings? by Siobhan.

Title: Subterfuge

Timeframe: Um, I guess maybe fifty years pre-TPM. I haven't really figured that out yet....
Characters: Padawan Jintoa Raintos, Knight Likhi Aniam (My master's. She'll kill me for this....)
Genre: Pre TPM OC action/adventure...knowing me, there'll be mush somewhere here too...
Summary: While tracking a wanted criminal deep into the underworld, a master and Padawan come across a deadly threat to destroy the Jedi.
Note I: I've got some pretty important exams coming up at school soon, my SATs, so I'll be really busy with revision and stuff. It might take me forever to get around to replying. Also, my teachers are letting me take a few courses a year or so early, so I'm really bogged down with coursework and stuff. But my online life takes priority over DRL, so I'll be here as often as possible.
Note II: I don't have anyone to beta read for me, so any spelling or grammer errors are completely my own. I'm British, and 14, so my spelling's dodgy anyhow..
