Hey, does anyone out there have the Hitchhiker books? I finally got around to reading them, and borrowed the first one from the library. They don't have the second one, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, so I thought I might ask the group.

I have them all in one volume. Fair warning though these are some of my favorite books...so if you loose them...I will be forced to do bad things to your personal private being... hmm although it might be quicker to just check out Barnes&Nobles bargain section...think I saw the all in one volume there pretty cheap not to long ago...but you can borrow my copy...IF you promise to get it read and returned :) I have already loaned out one copy of these and never seen them again. This copy hasn;t even had the spine broken yet. :)

heh and now you know where the 42 comes from in my ID :)

I took your suggestion, Ed, and picked up a hardback of the entire series for $15 at B&N. Thanks!! :D

Yea pretty good value that. The first copy I had was before Mostly Harmless came out...it was a very nice leather bound edition...looked like a Bible hehe... then it got loaned out and somehow never made its way back to me.
