Asian R2-D2 motion picture film?

When I was a kid about six to eight years old I saw bits of an Asian kids movie with
R2-D2 in the hero role. R5-D4 was also in it.
At that time I wasn`t a Star Wars fan.
It was aired on German TV.
It seemed rather old. Something between
1982 and 92.
It was about a kid ( asian ) who`s father
built R2 if I´m not mistaking. I remember
the kid and R2 in the father`s garage
and R2 rolling down a parking lot.
There was also some guy that wanted to destroy R2.
I remember a scene at a Japanese
Toy Fair at the end. R2 and R5 were friends. There were many toy robots that surrounded the bad guy at the end and he gave up.
That`s all I can remember. I know it sounds strange but I´m nearly 100%ly
sure I didn`t made this up.

Anyone else who saw that movie?
It`s probably a illegal film. LFL probably didn`t know anything about it.

Since that bootleg movie ( which really exists! ) isn`t a LFL project and there aren`t many people around that forum I reposted it here.

Well in that case you're just crazy ...

 

It may have been just some little low budget show or film that some company put out. If it had the details that Billy_Dee_Binks said than I'm sure LFL took care of that quickly. All trace of this "film" are in the hands of LFL to never be looked upon by human eyes again
