I used IMDB (masses), IMDB top 1000 (hardcore) and RT critics. Each films score is the average of these 3 ratings.
For IMDB I didn't just use the arithmetic mean, I used an average based on the median.
Example, a movie has a median of 7, I used all ratings 9-5, a movie has a median of 8, I used all ratings 10-6 etc.
This was to eliminate troll voting

 

I suppose if you like the prequels you're not to happy, but then you've already dealt with this difference for a while, so i think they'll make it.

For me it seems about right, although ANH, ROTJ and TFA are incredibly close in my eyes. ESB sits high up on the throne, glaring down at the others like an all powerful emperor of movies.

 

Personally I think TPM was better than AOTC but I don't feel particularly passionate about it. I am glad to see TFA above ROTJ though, that seems like a good sign for the future of the trilogy.

Idk if i think TFA is better than Jedi though, it's a close one. So i would like to have less difference between the two.

 

Personally I rate OT and TFA 10/10. I like fanedits of the PT too. I keep meaning to do my own fanedit. Think AOTC would be much better if replace the "romance scenes" with deleted scenes and also end the "romance" segment at the kiss. Cut away to Kamino before the stupid record scratching and also edit out the dialogue. Don't need words. Silent movies used to have ZERO dialogue. The next time you see them is Anakin looking out on balcony. PT movies are good movies underneath the rubbish and stupidity

 

Flip TPM and AOTC and that's my ranking.

That is my personal rating, so I'm pretty pleased. It is up there even with the campaign being waged against it, awesome.
