Possibly. As odd as it may seem. I've been wondering if Moloch could be a juvenile version of the 'Worm' we see in the pool? In the shot below, Moloch appears to be without his protective mask, and you can see the real shape of his face more clearly. Both he and the worm have hanging wattles, and both seem to have elongated, segmented necks. I think I can see multiple limbs on the worm in this pic, which Moloch seems to lack, but the LEGO Moloch figure does have tentacle-like appendages poking out of the back of his robe. So maybe there's more going on with Moloch's physiology than at first appears? In any case, the worm definitely puts me in mind of Leto II Atreides!
speaking of background characters anybody know what kind of role "TAG" and "BINK" are going to play cause i just read the comic of them and i gotta tell you, those two goof balls really are the goofiest.
I think there will be a "Princess Leia" moment in the movie that they are trying to hide. A little return of some old favorite. Hey, it might even be literally a return of Princess CGI Leia.
Based on the age difference between Han and Leia, plus Qi'ra being the female romantic interest, I don't expect to see Leia mentioned.
And it would massively detract from their first meeting and both their initial impression of each other.
I think we're going to see the Emperor. That's my guess. Not for very long and not with any of our main characters (especially not Han) but I've speculated that Beckett and Val are stealing Sith artifacts on Mimban for Drydan Vos. I think Drydan is going to get a call from His Highness basically telling him if he had anything to do with the theft he'll be severely punished which is what makes him turn on Beckett.
The Solo 360 experience below offers some great closeup views of all the colorful characters at the Sabacc table
Posted this in its own thread, but realize it probably belongs here. My favorite promotional gimmick for Solo is the 360 video of Han and Lando's sabacc game on Vandor (above). But the best thing about it is hidden really well, and involves the Huge Alien in the Space Helmet (HASH, for short). He's the guy on the far left: If you watch the video, and focus solely on HASH, you'll soon find out that he's a hilariously sarcastic mumbler (the best kind of mumbler). The absolute highlight is his final line, where he calls Han Solo a loser. Having nothing better to do today, I transcribed the entire exchange between Han and Lando, but with HASH's lines interspersed throughout (below). Let this be the HASH fan club thread, if you'll have it. He's already a legend, in my mind. Transcript: Lando: You know what? I’ll see you, but…I’ll raise you…2000. Huge alien in the space helmet: [impatiently looking at Han, who hesitates for a while]: 2000… Lando: [after Therm Scissorpunch accidentally breaks a glass with his claw]: Show some class! Han: I'll see your 2000, and I'll raise you...however much that is. Huge alien in the space helmet: Ha. He doesn't even know... Lando: Slow down Han. You might want to quit while you’re ahead. Han: You might want to quit while you’re behind. Lando: I like you…He’s adorable. Han: And I’m serious. Huge alien in the space helmet: [mocking tone] Really? Lando: I'm calling Han: With what, your scarf? Not my style. Lando: My ship against your ship. Huge alien in the space helmet: That’s more like it. Ha ha ha ha. Han: You know I'm feeling pretty lucky. Huge alien in the space helmet: Ha. Loser.
I noticed that in the bar where they play sabacc, there is an alien of the same/similar species as this Canto Bight female-alien(I think she is she) on the right side here: Can be easily seen behind Lando here Different skin color but same species I think. I like that design, one of the best Canto Bight alien-designs, since some of them were pretty bad IMO.
