Did I just hear a Miley Cyrus reference in an episode of The Clone Wars?

Episodes are apparently over now. Now they are taking questions I think. Some interesting stuff has already come out. Again somebody's going to have to get up the information that's being provided because I don't think I can get them all.

Dave Filoni says he thinks the Bad Batch arc will be posted on the official Star Wars site

So both Wat Tambor and Admiral Trench appear on this arc right? That pleases me so much!

 

While we wait for the full summary, I just want to give my two cents on the Corporate Neurality thing since the twitter feed mentioned it:
-We see all these corporate leaders like Gunray, San Hill, Wat Tambor, etc. throw in with Dooku in AOTC, but the corporations are portrayed as neutral in TCW.
-Lott Dodd labeling Nute Gunray as an extremist gives me the impression that the corporations publicly denounced their pro-separatist leaders like Gunray (and allegedly kicked them out as well) so that they'll have plausible deniability so that Obi-Wan's testimony after the First Battle of Geonosis wouldn't hurt them.
-However, much like how Palpatine commands Dooku from the shadows, Gunray, Hill, Tambor and the others still retain their influence and control behind the scenes.
-While most pf the senators believe this excuse, the jedi and the likes of Bail Organa don't buy it, hence Bail's "the Trade Federation is too chumy with the Separatists" comment in Supply Lines.
- I'm aware that the CIS has access to the corporate ship models. I imagine they're excuse is something along the lines of "X stole those," or "X paid for them out of his own pocket".
-I've come to the conclusion that in either the Padme arc (which deals with Gunrays's least favorite person doing investigative work) or the Quarren arc (featuring Tikkes, another Separatist ally) will end with the corporate favoritism towards the CIS exposed, forcing them to fully throw in with the Separatists.

 

I really hope it isn't long until we see this..... I don't understand why they thought it wasn't a good idea to live stream it....

i missed everything today anyways so i'm glad i didn't miss this.

 

It was mentioned at Celebration Europe a few months after the show was first cancelled. It was said that Padme wouldn't be doing any senate stuff and would be doing more action-packed/investigation stuff. Then a piece of concept art from it was posted online by Dave Filoni after The Lost Missions were released on Netflix. (the same art from Celebration Europe actually)

Admiral Trench is dead, for real this time. Anakin gutted him with a lightsaber.

Also, Fort Anaxes from Rebels made an appearance, when it was still in use.

 

Well, that's one (less important) fate confirmed.

 

First takeaways from Bad Batch arc:

+ It's a shame it never got finished. I think it would have been one of the strongest arcs of the series.
+ Some of the best choreographed action I've seen in TCW. Even in the unfinished state, it was exciting. The clearing of the command center in the first episode was, in particular, fantastic.
+ I'm glad that Echo didn't turn out to be a traitor in this case. Would have felt weird.
+ The Bad Batch's shuttle. Very sweet ride. Plus the nose art (i.e. sexy Padme pin-up). Anakin's reaction was great.
- Medal ceremony. It felt odd. Would have felt cooler if Mace and Anakin and all the regular troops were standing around waiting for the Bad Batch to show up to the ceremony, meanwhile they were flying off into space because they had better things to do than get silly trinkets trapped around their necks.
- RIP Admiral Trench. Though I did appreciate how his real arms curled in when he died. The best creepy cyborg-spider space admiral ever.
? When the first digit of the bomb's disarm code turned out to be 1, did anyone start thinking that it would end up being '1-2-3-4-5'? It's probably the combination of Admiral Trench's luggage.
+ Wrecker: "You mean I get to blow it up? ......This is the greatest day of my life."
+ Mace Windu's speech to the droids, attempting to get them to surrender.

Wrecker and Crosshairs seemed like the most complete characters.

During the Q&A:
? WTF was that reference regarding Ahsoka, Rex and Order 66? That is going need some explaining in the future. I'm betting that Filoni only mentioned it because it's going to be talked about in Rebels.

Edit: So they already came out hmmmm. Any word on iTunes. I can't freaking deal with not seeing these.
Also I'm willing to have it spoiled a bit katarn armor yes or no? I've been speculating about it for a while.

 

It is killing me not to click on those spoilers. If it were to go up on StarWars.com within a few days I would know for sure not to click, but the possibility of it taking a while to upload has me really wanting to click on the spoilers. xD

 

I really cant wait to see it! These new Clones seem weird and awesome at the same time!

 

I'm happy to see the bad batch arc was so good.
