***Bad Boys for Life (Bad Boys 2 Discussion)***

Haven't seen it yet. Sounds like, by the reviews, that I am going to like it alot. Most critics seem to forget that it's entertainment. And there's nothing like a good action movie once in a while.

 

I just saw it i thought it was awsome.

The Freway chase was insane and so was the end

I though martin Lawerance was histerical.

Action was very intense

Great Movie.

I agree totally Jango, the chase scene was insane and was overall a very funny movie. It was no doubt the best action movie of the summer.

 

Just got back for seeing it a couple of hours ago and the chase scene was better than Reloaded's. Really funny film

How can they be on number 1? Didn't it start Sunday?

 

No it started Friday. Films in the US seldom if ever start on a Sunday. You miss your prime viewing times and by the time the weekend comes around again your film is old and forgoten.

 

If the chase seen is anything like in the first movie, I'll probably like it. I really liked the "race" aspect of the first movies car chase.

Still haven't seen it. I need to get my arse into gear and go see it.

 

Just like to say that I've FINALLY seen it. Woo hoo!

Excellent movie. Much better than the first. A little gross at times, but hey, i'm game.

I just saw it this afternoon, and I really enjoyed it. A bunch of things getting blown up and some funny banter between Lawrence and Smith. Great action movie.

 

I saw this tonight and have to say: It absolutely blew away the first film. I loved Bad Boys, and this film was like that one times 2. I also liked that they upped the gore and added some gross out stuff. And that scene with the interrogation of the kid that wanted to date Marcus' daughter was the funniest thing I've seen since I watched Old School.

I took a girl and she liked it. She had to bury her head in my shoulder during a few of the grosser scenes though.

 

I was pretty-much going to give this movie a pass...simply due to the fact that I'm not a huge Martin Lawrence & Will Smith fan...and the scathing reviews that it got at RT.com.


But seeing the great reviews that it has gotten here...the beautiful women and carnage it has...and the fact that Joey Pants & Henry Rollins are in it...I may just have to give 'er a chance...

I'v been thinking about and I have come to the conclusion that I really love this movie. It was one of those movies that I didn't really care if I saw or not, so I went in not having much expectations even though I liked the first film, and I got something that is worth seeing several times. I would highly recommend this movie to any action fan.

 

I agree. Its not meant to make you question realality, the state of modern racial relations, or the despariging living conditions in third world contries like alot of the review I read seemed to think it was about.

This is Bay at his best. He doesn't make movies about love or loss like he has tried to recently. He makes pointless, amazing action films. If you even so much as smiled during another Bay film (The Rock, Pearl Harbor, Bad Boys, Armageddon) you will love this film.

And I still think the funniest part was when Martin saw the rats doin' it.

 

That was great. And the mortuary was also very funny. And that Cuban joke was fantastic. It took me a second to get it but once I got I couldn't stop laughing. I kept getting elbows from my friend because i was laughing during the next scene still.
If you can't remember the Cuban joke it was this: Isn't it low tide? Shouldn't you be picking up some relatives right about now?
I highlighted it so I wouldn't offend anybody. Never can be too careful.
