Battle droid Speech Effect

Does anyone Know how to Do the Battle droid Speech Effect...Ya Know That Roboty Droid Sound?

I use Audicity So If ya Could , show me how to Do it with That....thanks

 

You don't need any effects, just say "Roger roger" a lot.

 

Do you want Episode 3's gay voice or the hetero one from Episode 1 and two?

 

Well i Was looking for Both...but I Still Need the Roboty Effect.....

 

You might be able to get close with this plugin:

I use this plug in with Cool Edit 96, which you can find a working demo online, or if you have Audition then just use it there. It does all kinds of cool communicator/Robot/Alien effects with audio.

 

I'll Download That Audio Thingy then The patch....in the Meantime Is there Somthing With Audicity

Irvine, you can do it in Audacity. Basically, just record the lines of dialog, and then try out the seperate filters.
I forget which one it is, but it would be your preference as well.

Eventually you should be able to find one that makes your voice sound mechanized, raspy, and possibly containing a touch of an echo.
If you wanna talk like one while you're recording it, that probably wouldn't hurt either.
Just experiment with it. You should be able to figure out something.

I don't know if anyone else said it but here it goes:

I don't use Audacity,but I do it in Audition and here is what I use:

-Pitch Strecher
-a sort of Helium strech
-new preset downloaded Sore Throat

That's pretty much it!
