Worst EVER: Jobal and Ruwee. It's NOT poetic. Come on, Jobal goes better to a MAN and Ruwee goes better to a WOMAN. Yet it's the opposite... Just awful... Awful!!! Pooja too... *Shudders*

Count Dooku is terrible too. Especially when you think of it longly... Count Dookula. Please, George


Worst NICKNAME ever: Ani. Especially when they write it in books 'Annie'. It's a GIRL'S NAME!!! And you still wonder why that kid turned out a psychopath


Special prize for non-originality: Shmi and Padmé. Why? When you find out a Hindu Goddess and an Indian actress are both named Padma Lakshmi, you understand how imaginative George really is.

I can't believe only one other person brought up Lobot as worst name.

The guy is obviously a human being, so the "obot" thing makes no sense. And the fact that "Lob" comes into play because he wears a mechanical device on his ears(hence "lobe") is on the same level as naming characters Yak Face and Walrus Man.

Best? Han Solo.

 

Actually I thought Lobot's name came from the fact that he had a LOBOTomy.


Best Name- Lama Su, it sounds cool and methodical much like the Kaminoans themselves very methodical and clean.

Worst- I'm not sure about this one

 

Worst: Awww, come on people! Good Golly! If you ain't votin' for Jar Jar Binks as the absolute WORST name in the Star Wars series, then you need your Bongo stolen!

Coolest: Darth Vader. The idea behind the Darths as a sort of military title then a character description (Mauler, Tyrant, Invader, Insidious) is pretty cool.

Worst: Any "Darth" other than Darth Vader or Darth Maul.

Honourary Mention: Obi-Wan Kenobi. As others have said, very flowing, but too Japanese sounding; makes me think of Toshiro Mifune. I prefer plain ol' Ben.

I have to mention Arvel Crynid. I love that name.

 

Best: Kyle Katarn, its roles off the tough so well.Perfect for a no-nonsence getting-the-job-done-kinda-guy.

Worst: Farl Cort,a very, very minor character in one of the X-Wing series books. My best guess it was a result of Stalkpole having a nasty bought of writers block. Happens to all of us.

Well ESB is one of my favorite movies and AotC is one of my least favorite. Lucas has that effect on people.
