Best Original Villains of the live-action TV shows so far?

Yes, all these should be added. Even though they will receive zero votes. It’s only fair.

 

I say there should be an "Other" option to cover the ones who will receive zero votes. Fill the poll with characters who will get voted for.

Dedra Meero, She’s just such a great villain.

 

Without question the best so far.

Will be watching Qimir with great interest, though.

 

Went with Moff Gideon. Perhaps cos he was the one villain in all of these that was the most fleshed out, so I felt more fulfilled in getting to know him and could enjoy him more.

I also liked Dedra, but I would've really wanted to see more of her.

 

I'll rerank these correctly this time since last time I forgot the focus was on original villains -- plus I want to place Qimir higher on the list.

1. Darth Smiley/Qimir -- Episode 5 has placed him at the top.
2. Baylon -- Interesting grey antagonist with mysterious motives.
3. Dedra -- Cruel and sadistic, just my type.
4. Mae. At least for the first two episodes of Acolyte, I loved her mission of revenge.
5. Morgan Elsbeth. Overall, I think this character is somewhat underrated. Ahsoka really made me feel for her desire to recreate her people and world.
6. The Coven. Complicated "antagonist," but probably not a true villain. Probably not evil, if we are to believe Headland's comments. But what does a "benevolent" version of the Nightsisters mean? I assume it means misunderstood and not evil.
7. Gideon. They sure wasted his potential. I bet he returns though.
8. Reva: The writing really let this actress and character down. But she had (squandered) potential.

We might be able to add another Darth to our lists soon -- if the second Sith Headland mentions is totally new.

 

I voted for Baylan.

However, going forward I think Thrawn should get some serious consideration.

Baylan still the tops imo, but Qimir’s pure sex power is hurdling over other contenders, he’s gotta be number 2. Cad Bane low-key sexy too but they’d never let him go for it

 

I sense some frustration in the fandom.

 

Not sure why Cad Bane is on this list. He's an absolutely elite Star Wars villain, but he's been around for over a decade.
