Amph Bill Bixby died 30 years ago today

Big part of my childhood, from My Favorite Martian to The Magician (nod to my avatar there) to, of course, The Incredible Hulk.

Any of you have fond memories of those shows?

 

MFM was never really on over here, so he's always David Banner to me (sad piano music ) .

 

As a Marvel fanatic of a certain age I loved The Incredible Hulk, though I wished he would fight some supervillains rather than just sticking to beating up mobsters and the like. It was great to see him take on the other gamma-ray guy, though.

I wasn't keen of the TV movies from the late Eighties/Nineties, though.

 

Those tv movies were awful. It’s a miracle they didn’t kill the marvel universe.

Bixby did direct the Hulk movies with Daredevil and Thor in it, though. He beat almost everyone to that, and Daredevil was wearing the Year One outfit
