Good ol' Threepio the revolutionary celebrates another successfully explosive strike against the establishment with his robot militia.
There's something very old-school and Moebius-esque to this art. With anything Droids... that's fitting.
That art reminds me in places of linocut printing. Very cool. I'm definitely more interested in this now than I was.
So this story is called the phantom limb- exactly as it was foretold by the dlc of Lego force awakens, therefore maybe all the extra levels in that game will be based on future canon storylines (Poe Dameron comic for example) Anyway onto the comic itself I wonder how close to TFA this is? Months? Weeks? Days? DURING THE MOVIE ITSELF?!
CinemaBlend said a few month ago "A page about C-3PO in a companion book to The Force Awakens has recently leaked online, where some answers are given regarding the mysterious red arm. The caption reads, Spoiler 'C-3PO is uncharacteristically quiet when it comes to discussing his salvaged arm; it is a memento of another droid's sacrifice.'" That from the Visual Dictionary?
So how many issues are out for this series? I hardly see anything about this comic. How many issues is it gonna be? Waiting for the trade paperback.
Oh I know. But I thought this comic was already released and realized after posting this it was delayed again till April 13.
I'm disappointed that the "journey to the force awakens" branding has been removed. whilst it is obvious as to why it has gone, I think it would have been good humour to keep it on considering the delays this 1 comic keeps having.
I wish PeeZee hadn't been at the Battle of Jakku, because those droids are cool and new and I wish they were created more recently.
Ahh. The delays are over with. Diamond Distribution has it on its 4/13 release schedule. Wasn't this originally supposed to be released before TFA came out?
