Regarding actual possible contradictions in TOTU -

in the EU Duros females laid eggs. While Arin was either pregnant, or at least that can be the case of ovoviviparity.

 

Apparently they can reproduce in any mode because Neimoidians are a sub-species of Duros and they only differ by being green rather than blue.

Well, it isn't like we saw the birth or anything. Eggs need to gestate internally a bit before being laid, especially ones that can't be fertilized from the outside, so she could have laid an egg offscreen and then Isaac hatched and went through his grub phase before we see him as a kid.

The eyes are different as well if I recall correctly.
