    Hi again,
Well I don't have any kind of fire-wire card yet but I do have Adobe Premiere 6.0 and the Dazzle Digital Video Creater 80 connector (to go from an analog output to a USB port). What I'm wondering is this -- can I use this connection to capture footage into Adobe Premiere 6.0 and if I can't, then what do I need? I know this is probably in the tutorials section, but I'm mainly curious to know if Dazzle connection will suffice (for the time being, that is).

    Thanks in advance. :)

    KRASNOGORSK-

I have (essentially) the same setup. Some version of the Dazzle tower and Premiere (6.5). I have found that you can capture into Dazzle your clip, either from camera, VCR, DVD (Hehehe, so many uses, so little time) or basically anything with analog output. I go into premiere (once I have captured my video) and go
    File/Import/File(Opens)
    C:/Program Files/MovieStar/Media/Clips/XXX.

(In the example above, Moviestar is the software my capture thingy came with and XXX is the name of the captured video. Note, the difference in Premiere and potenetial difference in the Dazzle stuff may twist this around a little bit.)

    Good Luck!

P.S. I have trouble exporting finished video from Dazzle. It has to be a type of file it recognizes.

It recognizes like two types of files. :(

What are the two files it recognizes? I'm kinda having the same problem here.

    Same idea for this question:

I have a DVD Creation Station 200, and while I can capture in moviestar (but not in premiere), I cannot export back to the hooked-up device (a VCR). What gives? Moviestar just friezes.

I can capture in MovieStar fine and I can open that captured footage in premiere, it's just that I want to capture directly into premiere using the Dazzle connector, and I don't know if that can be done. When I capture in MovieStar using Dazzle, it captures at like 300 lines of resolution. I'm thinking that I can capture at a higher resolution in premiere. No? Ah, anyway. I guess i have some experimenting to do. Thanks for the tips....
