Here's what you can do: Wave your hand in front of security and say "This is a symbol of honor, not an offensive weapon. Let it pass". :) That's what Luke did in the Truce at Bakura.

On our flight to C-2, my bro and I had Peter Mayhew on our plane! It would've been great to see Chewy back in a cock-pit. ;) Almost like the scene with Kareem Abdul Jabaar in the movie "Airplane."

Forgot to mention this at the meeting, but I'm presenting Nalini Krishan an Honorary Membership plaque for the Rebel Legion on behalf of Chanel and myself. The plaque cost me $41. Ming paid $5. Any additional would help also. Thanks.

Hi Matt, I knew there was something I was forgetting at the meeting! I'll give you some cash at C3 for the plaque also, just remind me in case I forget in all the excitement of packing, flying, etc! :)
Thanks for posting the schedule Robert!

Like I stated at the meeting, DON'T FORGET YOUR BADGES! :D If you didn't receive your orange lanyard, Friends and Family passes, and/or your Vader topper, try contacting Gen-Con. If you don't get a response before your flight, I'd suggest bringing your receipt and any additional proof that you bought them to registration after 5 pm Wednesday. The lanyard will probably identify you as a Fan Club member and entitle you to perks, and the passes will let those of us who are NOT members get those perks as well. As for the topper, I don't think those mid-westerners would mind you going topless. They're very open-minded folk, I hear. (j/k) ;) Let's all meet at the hotel lobby sometime Wednesday night to discuss an attack plan and dinner. Sound good? Also, please make sure your e-mails are on your profile, so I can e-mail everyone the SFFF phone contact sheet. Thanks.

As a reminder, for those that have the discount forms, I am held responsible for you guys. It even says so on the forms. So behave. I know I shouldn't have to say this, but even I have to abide by employee behavior standards when I visit other properties.

I know I seemed to be obsessed w/ the Indy weather, but trust me, after going through the Dagobah rains of C-1, and the mild humidity of C-2, it's always good to know what you're in for so:

Remember to have a printout of your paypal receipt if you are attending the Rebel Legion/Fan Force/501st party on Friday. That paypal receipt will act as your ticket to the event.

Remember to bring your badge (with orange lanyard if you are a fan club member).

And for those in the Courtyard block of rooms, remember the diascount authorization forms, otherwise you will pay full price.

And clarifying the video taping policy for CIII this is taken from the starwarscelebration.com faq page

Q: Can I bring my still or video camera to Celebration III?

Still cameras are allowed anywhere, except during stage presentations at which the audience is requested to not take photos. There is absolutely no filming for documentary and news purposes without express written permission from Gen Con LLC and Lucasfilm. Recording devices are not allowed at any stage presentations or shows, whether video or audio. Audio and video recording for private use only is allowed in the halls and in other public places at Celebration III.

Just found out that each morning (and night?) of C3 in the parking lot behind the RCA Dome, a group (can't remember the name) will be serving free breakast food. They are requesting donations, however, which would be divided between Angelica's fund and to Katie Johnson, daughter of founding 501st member Albin Johnson, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. So any help would be appreciated! They will also be selling t-shirts!

If no one was able to copy down the SFFF contact list for C3, call me and I'll give you anyone's number. Actually, I should ask that when everyone gets to the hotel to call me so I can keep track of who's there, so we could meet for dinner to discuss our plan of attack for the con. Will-call opens at 2 pm, and registration begins at 5 pm. If the con center is open like last time, they'll be setting up still and you can get a sense of where everything is.

Did anyone manage to copy the PDF file of the schedule? If so, do you think you can email it to me? For some reason when I click the link Harlock posted, it's not found now. The link was working the other day, but now it's not. Could someone please send me a copy at rogues@swanb.net

    Thanks!

The link on the starwarscelebration.com web site seems to be dead too, so I am thinking they are redoing the PDF to make it more readable or that it is being changed. My guess is for the later having worked conventions and scrambling to make changes at the last minute is a standard operating procedure.

So is anyone else going nuts trying to get ready? haha. I've already resigned myself to finishing the hand work on my trim when I get there, attempting to cram everything in and so far succeeding by a hair!

Can't wait to see you guys there!! Oh, and if anyone needs the info, I arrive at 5, and should be at my hotel by 6:30. (getting a lift at 6) Anyone happen to need a ride from the airport then? Let me know!

    :) woooooooooooo!

I've been so nuts that this is the first I've looked at this site in a long time, and now I'll probably miss out on seeing all of you there. I sent my contact info to "Jedi Head", so hopefully he will check his email before he goes, else, we'll see you when we see you...

This is just a generic "HAVE FUN OVER THERE!" message. :) I know you'll all have a blast at CIII. Be sure to store up cool stories and anecdotes to share with us stay-at-homes.

I am all set to live vicariously. ;)

The eagle has landed. SFFF has decended on Indy like a biblical plague and we aren't taking prisoners.

Seriously, after long flights and vaious adventures of how we got here. It's great to finally land and check in to our hotel. The hotel staff is even dressed in costume! That would never happen at my hotel.

    We will keep everyone updated.
