WOW!!!!!! Awesome pics. It's great to see my dress finally- I had never tried it all on at once and only had a bathroom mirror to see what it looked like. Thanks for all of the pics! If anyone has any more of me (purple/black original Amidala design), I'd love to see them. I really like Obi Ann's (sp?) original handmaiden. Kinda funny that it's purple and we matched!?! That really makes me mad that I missed Friday. I had so much work to do for POTC 3 and then when it was over, I crashed and only reached the con at 5:30 to pick up my badge....

I must also thank the volunteers here and elsewhere that helped to put on the pageant and the other events. That's really awesome that you took the time to help while missing some of the con themselves. Thanks volunteers! And again, nice to meet more of you!

I agree, the volunteers were stellar - the costume pageant people especially (the ones I saw the most) were very helpful, pleasant, patient, and professional. Thank you all again! (SWCostumer and LeiaYT1300 and Anne Brown are the only ones whose names I know of - also thanks Julie and her husband).

Maulested, I loved your queen costume - I think I saw another pic of it today on someone's photos - check the links in the photo thread from the C4 forum - I think Obi-Dawn put a link to it on the first page of this thread.

I'm really enjoying looking at all the photos! It's almost like being there :p

Sister Sola your Sola dress is beautiful! I love the photos of you and Kay Dee in her family gown :D I also love the black ep 3 dress, not many people make it, and it is so lovely! :D Great work on the classic dress too!

Maulested your gown was magnificent!! It trully does look like something Amidala would wear, and it looks like a lot of work went into it!

    I can't believe I missed this thread!

You all take such nicely posed pictures! I missed so much of these costumes. I looked for Kaydees family gown and thought she would wear in on Sunday! never thought Monday.
We were pretty worn down by Monday and didn't dress up.

Where did you guys all hang out? I think because the convention center was SO big, we missed SO much! And I'm only now discovering what I missed!

Anyway, my pics are in my photobucket (below)

As soon as I got back from Sonoma yesterday, I started working on the Sunday Costume Pageant photos. I'll eventually get some photos of your costume taken in the hallway up online as well, but it probably won't be until closer to the end of the week at the rate all these photos are taking me. Your costume was so beautiful! I loved the added touch of the abalone shells, and your fabric choices were very Trisha-esque!

MomMaster - you are correct. At first I had planned to wear my Padme Family Gown on Sunday. But I was invited to the Master Replicas party as Leia so I had to switch gears and wear my Ceremonial Gown that day. And we were not able to stick around afterwards to get photos of everyone because we were running late for the party. I'm sorry :(

Here's a pic that is of Donny(fett) & I on our way to catch the shuttle for C4 at the Westin Bonaventure. We thought it would be cool to take a picture by this grafitti we saw walking by. The lightsaber was photoshopped by Donny. The actual picture was resized by:Andradir (Georg Mackowiak) of Rebel Legion's German Base & the photo was taken by the talented Emily("thtirishgirl" or "Mrs.Stevenson").

Is that foxbatkillr? I've seen this in his signature :D Was that graffitti already there? I had wondered if someone had done it just for this shot, but if not, that's really awesome!! coolest grafitti I've ever seen!

Yes, I used to go by foxbatkllr on these boards...but yeah that is indeed me in the clone trooper in that photo. That graffiti was already there (but it was pink) and Lloyd changed the color to see it better.

Great new pictures everyone! I love yours, kaydee - it's like being at the show again to see all of those pictures of everyone on stage. I think the best part was being in the crowd afterwards with all of the beautiful Padmes, cheering for all of the first place winners. I couldn't decide who to vote for, so I just cheered for everyone - "let the wookie win!", but then Maulested's costume was so beautiful so we were all screaming for her too...*sighs* that was so much fun.

I was so glad I got to talk to you backstage, Maulested, and look at your costume up close! It really was so beautiful. I was especially impressed when you took your headpiece right off to put the medal on! That was some fine craftsmanship. I could have torn my hair biscuit things off, but it would have taken a lot of my hair with it. ^_~

And I'm still not over little Dark Helmet. Somehow that was just incredibly adorable!

I went through the friday night pics, and some of the outfits there were awesome! That gammorean guard was incredibly well done, and Chef Vader serving up the Jar Jar head had me laughing my tail off. Too funny!

Congrats to all the winners of both Friday and Sunday's pageants. I think the best ones did win(although my son was DEVASTATED he didn't win on Sunday with his little Anakin, I thought he looked pretty darn good but I AM bias [face_laugh])

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in here until now, because my pics still aren't all up yet...real life business is keeping me behind on uploading!
I was the Star Wars gothic lolita in the Friday pageant. Lolita fashion is a Japanese street fashion that hasn't really caught on in other parts of the world yet...it's common to see lolitas at anime conventions, but I guess not too many anime fans attended C-IV! I entered the pageant because I wanted to show people my outfit, and didn't really expect to win anything. Despite all the "what IS that?" reactions I probably got, I did have a great time on stage! Congratulations to all winners of the pageant, especially the Gamorrean Guard! I loved that outfit.
Here's what I looked like on Thursday and Friday, this photo was taken by Mr. Scott Ruther during the pageant:
    [image=http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/2090/photobyscottrutherjh8.jpg]

I'll post again when I upload all my pictures. And by the way, if anyone wants to learn more about lolita fashion, go here:

Oh great! Maybe we can bribe our moderator SisterSola to update the contest results with your screen name ;)

And if anyone else was in the pageant (even if you didn't win a ribbon) please let me know who you were. I'd like to add comments to my photos with the screen names of as many TFN/RebelLegion/501st members as I can. I just have not had time yet.
